- Today we look at the only love that never fails, never changes, and never runs out: God’s love for you.

- “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God… God is love.” — 1 John 4:7–8


1. This love is not earned—it is given
Ini nga gugma wala ginapangabudlayan—ini ginahatag lang

- Most love in the world says: “I love you if… you are good enough, you give me something, you please me.”

Kalabanan nga gugma sa kalibutan nagasiling: “Ginahigugma ko ikaw kon… maayo ka, kon may ginahatag ka sa akon, ukon kon gina dayaw mo ako.”

- But God’s love says: “I love you… period.” He loved you while you were still a sinner (Romans 5:8).

- Greek note: The love described here is agapē—selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love that seeks only your good, never what it can get in return.

2. This love was proven at the cross
Ini nga gugma napamatud-an didto sa krus

- “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…” (John 3:16)

- He did not just say He loves you—He gave the most precious thing He had to save you.


- No mistake, no failure, no past can ever make Him stop loving you.

3. This love changes us and flows through us
Ini nga gugma nagabag-o sa aton kag nagaagay sa aton

- “Since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” (1 John 4:11)

- When you truly receive His love, you do not just keep it—you share it: with your family, your neighbors, even those who are hard to love.
Kon matuod mo nga nabaton ang Iya gugma, indi mo lang ini pag-ipungot—ipapasa mo ini: sa imo pamilya, sa imo mga kaingod, kag bisan sa mga tawo nga budlay higugmaon.

- We love because He first loved us.
Nagahigugma kita tungod Siya ang una nga naghigugma sa aton.
 

CONCLUSION

- You do not have to prove yourself worthy—He already loves you completely.

Wala ka na kinahanglan magpamatuod nga takos ka—ginahigugma ka na Niya sing bug-os.

- Open your heart to Him today; let His love fill you and lead you.

Podcast: Seek God First While You Wait

Magandang araw sa inyong lahat! Welcome to my podcast, Seek God First While You Wait. Ako po si Jason Turmis, isang Christian at Bible student. Una sa lahat, nagpapasalamat ako sa Panginoon sa Kanyang kabutihan, biyaya, at katapatan sa aking buhay. It is a blessing to share my testimony with all of you.

Hindi ako perfect na Christian, at marami pa akong kailangang matutuhan tungkol sa Salita ng Diyos. Pero nagpapasalamat ako dahil patuloy akong tinuturuan at ginagabayan ng Panginoon. Bilang isang Christian, natututuhan ko na hindi palaging madali ang buhay. May mga pagsubok at pagkakataong hindi natin naiintindihan ang nangyayari. Pero sa lahat ng ito, kailangan nating magtiwala sa Diyos.

Sabi sa Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV), “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” This verse reminds me to trust God even when I do not understand everything. Hindi ko man alam ang lahat ng mangyayari sa aking buhay, naniniwala ako na maaari akong magtiwala sa Panginoon at humingi ng Kanyang gabay sa bawat desisyon ko.

Bilang isang Bible student, natututuhan ko na hindi sapat na basahin lamang ang Bible. Kailangan din nating isabuhay ang mga aral nito. Sabi sa Psalm 119:105 (KJV), “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Ang Salita ng Diyos ang nagbibigay sa atin ng gabay at karunungan. Kaya gusto kong patuloy na mag-aral ng Bible, lumago sa pananampalataya, at mamuhay ayon sa kalooban ng Panginoon.

Ang mensahe ng aking podcast ay Seek God First While You Wait. Minsan, gusto nating masagot agad ang ating mga panalangin, pero may mga bagay na kailangan nating hintayin. Natututuhan ko na habang naghihintay, dapat tayong patuloy na manalangin, magbasa ng Bible, at maglingkod sa Diyos. Sabi sa Psalm 27:14 (KJV), “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart.” Kaya huwag tayong mawalan ng pag-asa. Patuloy tayong magtiwala sa Panginoon kahit hindi pa natin nakikita ang sagot.

Bilang si Jason Turmis, ang desire ko ay patuloy na makilala ang Diyos at gamitin ang aking natututuhan upang makapag-encourage sa ibang tao. Through this podcast, gusto kong magbahagi ng mga aral mula sa Bible at mga mensaheng makatutulong sa iba na mas magtiwala kay Jesus Christ. Hindi ko layunin na itaas ang aking sarili, kundi ang bigyang-kaluwalhatian ang Panginoon sa lahat ng aking ginagawa.

Sa lahat ng nakikinig, kung dumaraan kayo sa mga pagsubok o may mga bagay kayong hinihintay, huwag kayong sumuko. Continue praying, continue reading God's Word, and continue trusting Him. Hindi man natin alam ang ating future, alam natin na maaari tayong lumapit sa Diyos at humingi ng Kanyang gabay.

Bilang pagtatapos, gusto kong sabihin na I am still learning, I am still growing, and I am still trusting God. Hindi man ako perfect, nais kong patuloy na matuto mula sa Salita ng Diyos at maging faithful sa Kanya.

Tandaan natin: Seek God first while you wait. Unahin natin ang Diyos, magtiwala sa Kanyang Salita, at manatiling tapat sa Kanya sa lahat ng panahon.

“Seek God First While You Wait”

Magandang gabi, mga kapatid!
Welcome to our podcast. I’m Jason Turmis, a third-year student from Negros Fellowship Baptist Seminary (NFBS).
And this podcast is part of our Technology in Church Ministry course output, where we are learning how we can use technology to communicate God’s Word and encourage people wherever they may be.
So tonight, I want to share with you a simple but very important message about something that all of us experience at some point in our lives:
WAITING.
Let me ask you a question:
Have you ever prayed for something and waited for so long that you finally asked, “Lord, kailan?”
Maybe you're waiting for an answer to your prayer.
Maybe you're waiting for a financial breakthrough.
Maybe you're waiting for healing.
Maybe you're waiting for an opportunity.
Maybe you're waiting for God to change a situation in your life.
At first, we can say:
“Lord, I trust You.”
But when the days become weeks, and the weeks become months, sometimes our faith begins to struggle.
We start asking:
“Lord, naririnig Mo pa ba ako?”
“Lord, bakit ang tagal?”
“Lord, kailan Mo sasagutin ang prayer ko?”
And that's one of the hardest parts of faith:
Learning to trust God when we don't understand His timing.
Because when we are waiting, we can see the problem, but we cannot always see the purpose.
We can see the delay, but we cannot always see what God is doing behind the scenes.
And sometimes, because we are so focused on the answer, we forget the Answer-Giver.
We become so focused on the blessing we are waiting for that we forget the God who is with us while we wait.
That's why Jesus gives us this powerful reminder in Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Notice those two important words:
“Seek first.”
Jesus didn't say:
“Get everything first, then seek God.”
He said:
“Seek God first.”
So habang naghihintay ka kay Lord, what should you do?
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep obeying His Word.
Keep serving Him.
Keep seeking God.
Because sometimes, God's delay is not only about what He wants to give you.
It is also about what He wants to teach you while you are waiting.
Maybe you're praying:
“Lord, change my situation.”
But God may be saying:
“My child, first let Me change your heart.”
Maybe you're asking:
“Lord, kailan Mo ibibigay ang blessing?”
And God is saying:
“Seek Me first. Trust Me with the blessing.”
Mga kapatid, here's the truth I want us to remember tonight:
❤️ “Don't let the delay make you forget the One you are waiting for.”
Because when God is first in our lives, we don't have to be afraid of what comes next.
We can trust His timing.
We can trust His wisdom.
We can trust His provision.
And most of all, we can trust His heart.
So if you are listening right now and you're in a waiting season, this message is for you.
Maybe you don't understand what God is doing.
Maybe you don't know when the answer will come.
But don't give up.
Don't chase the answer—seek the Answer-Giver.
Don't allow the delay to destroy your faith.
Instead, let the delay draw you closer to God.
And remember:
🔥 “Seek God first. Trust His timing. Leave the rest in His hands.”

Welcome to our podcast. I’m Jason Turmis, a third-year student from Negros Fellowship Baptist Seminary (NFBS).
