Who said a Pastor’s daughter is holier than the holiest? In this book,a Pastor's daughter as expected by society grows up with bible teachings on virginity, chastity and abstinence. Society has hopesthat not in any way can a Pastor`s daughter go astray and fall pregnant whilst at school. The daughter falls pregnant at school and the church where her father is a Pastor finds it so hard to accept her back. She even is persecuted to an extent she is not allowed in the church choir. But music is her life and passion. Even with baby after baby and with books coming later leading to a career in music management, she displays resilience through unleashing her talents and on her own. Music holds her strong to overcome shame and transform it into strength.

This is a story of hardship, isolation and rejection where a teenager is not accepted back until she cleanses her ‘sin’ in premarital sex by marrying a boy who impregnated her and who she never had relationship with. But she finally makes it. Her life race was with stumbling blocks. She kept her spirit strong. She shows determination and courage to turn shame into strength-Muzvare Betty Makoni.

In her own words Magdalene Adenaike says, ‘I had to pour it out to future generations of girls so that they learn from me about teenage
pregnancy. Some mistakes I of course made are mistakes teenagers
make daily and yet by sharing this story I feel am saving lives from
being ruined. My book is for parents to ask them to teach children
about sexual reproductive health. I only came to know that I could be
pregnant when I had fallen into it. If only someone had told me at
school or at home maybe I could have known better. Also to
churches, it is time we open our hearts to some real tragedies that fall
on us human beings. When a church member falls into a tragic
situation as mine, church remains a place for kindness. My situation
was the opposite and my book does not seek to condemn church but
in my story I tried to see how church can help those whose paths do
not go as straight as expected. No route in life is clear whether
