The Bible uses some surprisingly strong images for people. Some are called— sheep. Others are compared to— fish. But others are described as pigs, dogs, snakes, and even beasts. Why? If “fish” can symbolize people, could the “beasts” of biblical prophecy also reveal something about human beings and human powers? Jesus compared the Kingdom of Heaven to a net cast into the sea. It gathers fish of every kind. But then comes— separation. The good are kept. The bad are thrown away. So the real question may not simply be: “Was I caught in the net?” It may be: “What will I be revealed to be when the separation comes?” Daniel and Revelation repeatedly describe beasts associated with power, conflict, persecution, and domination. And under pressure, people are forced to make choices. Will fear change what you believe? Will comfort make you compromise? Will power determine what you call truth? The story of Noah presents a similar warning. Before the flood, ordinary life continued. Then judgment revealed the difference between those who were prepared and those who were not. Perhaps trials do something similar. They reveal what is already inside us. So if the biblical net were cast today— what kind of “fish” would you be? And when faith becomes costly, what kind of person would you become? 📩 Official LINE #BibleProphecy #BiblicalSymbolism #BeastFromTheSea #GoodFish #BadFish #ParableOfTheNet #EndTimes #Judgment #Revelation #Daniel #NoahsArk #Trials #Faith #KingdomOfHeaven #BibleStudy #ChristianPodcast

<itunes:author>ray</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>🎙️ EP46｜Why Does the Bible Compare People to Pigs, Dogs, Snakes—and Beasts? Something strange keeps happening in the Bible. In Daniel, terrifying beasts rise— out of the sea. In Revelation, the beast with seven heads and ten horns also rises— out of the sea. Why? Is Scripture simply describing an ocean? Or does the “sea” represent something much larger? Then Revelation introduces another sea. But this one is completely different: the Sea of Glass. One sea is associated with beasts, conflict, and chaos. The other stands before the throne of God— and those standing upon it are the ones who have overcome the beast. The contrast is striking: Sea → Beast → Chaos → Conflict but Sea of Glass → Overcomers → God’s Throne And this imagery goes even further back. Then the sea opened. What looked like certain death became a path to deliverance. But if the fish represent people, what does the sea represent? And who are the fishermen? In Ezekiel, water flows from the Temple, bringing life wherever it goes. Then something fascinating happens: fish appear. Fishermen appear. And suddenly, the imagery begins to connect: Spring → Water → River → Sea → Fish → Fishermen → Net The spring is the source. The water carries life and truth. The river carries that water outward. The sea contains the fish. And the fishermen cast their nets. Jesus told His disciples: “I will make you fishers of men.” Clearly, He wasn’t really talking about fish. He was talking about— people. But why use fish as the metaphor? To understand the fish, we may first need to understand the water. Throughout Scripture, water flows from a source, becomes a river, and brings life wherever it goes. Jesus said: “Rivers of living water will flow from within them.” If water represents God’s Word and truth, then the spring represents its source. Those who receive that living water do not simply keep it for themselves. It flows outward. Ezekiel describes water flowing from the Temple— and wherever the river goes, life appears. Then something interesting happens: fish appear. And so do fishermen. The imagery begins to connect: Spring → Living Water → River → Sea → Fish → Fishermen If the fish represent people, and the fishermen are those sent to reach them, then “fishers of men” becomes part of a much larger biblical picture. Living water is not meant only to satisfy your own thirst. It flows outward so that other lives can be restored. But Scripture also speaks of a final separation: good fish and bad fish. So perhaps the ultimate question isn’t: “Am I one of the fish?” It is— “When the fish are separated, what kind will I be?” In this episode, we trace the imagery from the Fountain of Life to rivers, fish, fishermen, and spiritual harvest. Perhaps those who truly receive living water do more than come alive themselves— they become part of bringing life to others. #LivingWater #FishersOfMen #RiverOfLife #FountainOfLife #Ezekiel #Revelation #BiblicalSymbolism #BibleProphecy #BibleStudy #Jesus #SpiritualHarvest #WordOfGod #Truth #BibleExplained #ChristianPodcast #TruthSeekers

<itunes:author>ray</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>🎙️ EP43｜Why Did Jesus Say, “I Will Make You Fishers of Men”? In Scripture, water is more than something that satisfies physical thirst. It can symbolize teaching, truth, and the Word of God. But here’s the uncomfortable question: Is every source of spiritual “water” actually good for you? The Bible speaks of living water, springs, rivers, and the Water of Life. But it also speaks of bitter water and corrupted sources. At Jacob’s well, Jesus told the Samaritan woman: “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” So perhaps the real question is not: “Are you drinking?” It is: “What source are you drinking from?” A person can consume teaching every day, listen to countless sermons, read endless opinions, and still remain spiritually thirsty. Because not every source contains life. In this episode, we explore the biblical symbolism of wells, springs, rivers, seas, and different sources of spiritual water. Perhaps the greatest spiritual famine is not having nothing to drink— but drinking constantly and never finding the source that truly gives life. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you'd like to explore these ideas more deeply, you're welcome to join our online Tao Te Ching study group. Jesus once told a woman: “Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” But there’s an obvious problem. We drink water— and eventually, we get thirsty again. So what kind of “water” was Jesus actually talking about? From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture repeatedly speaks of rivers, springs, living water, and the River of the Water of Life. Are these only descriptions of physical water? Or are they pointing to something deeper? Jesus also washed His disciples’ feet. But what if the real cleansing was never simply about removing dirt from the body? What if true cleansing has to do with the heart, the conscience, and the truth a person receives? Jesus made an even stranger statement: “Rivers of living water will flow from within them.” A literal river cannot flow from a human body. So perhaps the image was never meant to remain literal. In this episode, we explore the biblical symbolism of water, springs, rivers, and spiritual cleansing. Perhaps the water that truly ends our thirst is not something we drink with our mouths— but truth that gives life from within. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you'd like to explore these ideas more deeply, you're welcome to join our online Tao Te Ching study group. Jesus once told a wedding banquet parable. A man entered the banquet— but because he was not wearing the proper wedding garment, he was cast out. Why? Does God really care about literal clothing? Or is the “garment” pointing to something far deeper? Throughout Scripture, clothing appears again and again: Adam’s covering, the priestly garments, the bride’s fine linen, and the armor of God. What if these garments represent truth, righteous actions, identity, and spiritual responsibility? Revelation says that the bright and clean fine linen represents the righteous deeds of the saints. So perhaps the real question is not: “Were you invited?” But: “Were you prepared?” In this episode, we explore the biblical meaning of garments, fine linen, and the wedding clothes of the Kingdom. Perhaps being spiritually “naked” does not mean wearing no clothes— but claiming to belong to God while your life has never been clothed in truth. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you'd like to explore these ideas more deeply, you’re welcome to join our online Tao Te Ching study group. Revelation describes a mysterious song. It is called— the “New Song.” But there’s something unusual about it: not everyone can learn it. Scripture describes a specific group who are able to understand and sing this song. Why? If the New Song were simply music, why would only certain people be able to learn it? Revelation also describes people who overcome the beast, its image, and the number of its name. They stand beside the sea of glass and sing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. But what if these songs represent more than music? What if they point to God’s commands, prophecy, and the testimony of prophecy fulfilled? Then the “New Song” may represent something that can only be understood when what was foretold finally becomes reality. But there is another requirement. Those prepared for the wedding of the Lamb are clothed in— fine linen, bright and clean. And Revelation explains that the fine linen represents the righteous deeds of the saints. So the real question is not: “Can you sing the song?” It is: Have you overcome? Have you understood? And has that truth changed the way you live? In this episode, we explore the New Song, the overcomers, and the wedding garment of Revelation. Someone can hold Scripture, study it for years, and even teach others— yet still fail to recognize the truth when it appears. That is a different kind of blindness. And spiritual deafness is not simply an inability to hear sound. It is hearing truth and still being unable—or unwilling—to receive it. Scripture also repeatedly uses the image of a lamp. John the Baptist was described as “a burning and shining lamp.” A true lamp is not meant to draw attention to itself. Its purpose is to help people see. But what happens when the person guiding others loses the light? What happens when a teacher can no longer see the path? Jesus’ warning becomes uncomfortable: the danger is not only blindness. It is blindness with followers. In this episode, we explore the biblical symbolism of lamps, blindness, and deafness. Perhaps spiritual discernment is not about blindly finding someone to follow— but developing the ability to recognize who is leading you toward the light, and who is leading you toward the pit. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you'd like to explore these ideas more deeply, you're welcome to join our online Tao Te Ching study group. Most of us assume that if our eyes work, we can see. But Jesus spoke of people who had eyes and still could not see. So was He talking about physical blindness? Or something much deeper? Throughout Scripture, we find recurring symbols: lamps, oil, seven lamps, seven stars, seven eyes, the blind, and the deaf. What if these images are pointing beyond their literal meaning? Why can a lamp be removed? Why must eyes be opened? If oil represents the Word of God, and a lamp represents someone carrying that light, what happens when truth is lost? Many people approach faith because they are searching for blessings. Peace. Wisdom. Prosperity. Answers to life’s deepest questions. But what if God’s purpose is not simply to place treasure in your hands? What if He intends to transform you into treasure? Revelation speaks of gold refined by fire. This is not merely physical gold or wealth that can be purchased with money. It points to truth tested through experience, and to a life purified through trials. True spiritual wealth is not simply knowing more teachings. It is allowing truth to reshape your thoughts, your choices, and the way you live. A person may possess great knowledge and still remain proud, self-assured, and unchanged. Another may pass through intense trials and gradually lose the impurities that once controlled their life. In this episode, we explore the biblical symbolism of gold, precious stones, and refining fire. Perhaps the treasure God wants to give us is not only truth stored within the heart. Perhaps He also intends— to make our lives into refined gold capable of carrying that truth. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you’d like to explore these ideas more deeply, you’re welcome to join our online Tao Te Ching study group. Long before Jesus appeared, the Old Testament declared: “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.” But what kind of darkness was this? Was it simply the absence of sunlight? And was the “great light” only a physical light in the sky? If light in Scripture represents truth and the Word of God, could this prophecy have been pointing to Jesus? Jesus did not come to make the daytime brighter. He came to awaken people who were living in ignorance, false teaching, and spiritual darkness. But seeing the light is not the end of the story. Jesus also told His disciples: “You are the light of the world.” Those who truly receive the truth are not meant to hide it. They are called to become lamps— revealing that truth through their words, their actions, and the lives they lead. In this episode, we trace the Old Testament prophecy of the “great light” to Jesus as the Light of the World. We also explore why those who receive that light are called to illuminate the path for others. Perhaps those who have truly seen the light do more than escape the darkness— they begin helping others find their way out. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you’d like to explore these ideas more deeply, you’re welcome to join our online Tao Te Ching study group. Genesis says that on the first day, God declared: “Let there be light.” And there was light. But this raises a fascinating question. The sun, moon, and stars were not created until the fourth day. So if the sun did not yet exist, what exactly was the light of the first day? Perhaps biblical “light” was never limited to physical illumination. Jesus said: “I am the light of the world.” Scripture also describes the Word of God as light that reveals truth and illuminates the heart. Yet holding the Bible does not necessarily mean that someone has seen this light. Second Corinthians describes a veil covering the heart when Scripture is read without understanding its deeper meaning. The words may be visible, while their true significance remains hidden. Perhaps true illumination is not a ceremony performed on an external object. It is what happens when— the human heart is illuminated by truth. In this episode, we trace the light of Genesis to Jesus, the Word of God, and the veil over the human heart. We explore how written words, once their symbolism is opened, can become the light of life within a person. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you'd like to explore these ideas more deeply, join our online study group. The High Priest could not simply walk into the Holy of Holies. He entered with incense, and its smoke covered the mercy seat. But why? Did God actually need the fragrance? Then, centuries later, Revelation presents another mysterious image: a golden censer. If incense represents prayer, what does the censer represent? And if God's temple is not merely a physical building, where is the true sanctuary that must be purified? Scripture gives us an even more provocative statement: “To obey is better than sacrifice.” So what does God actually desire? More rituals? More offerings? Or obedience to His Word? In this episode, we explore the High Priest, the Holy of Holies, and the golden censer— and the reality these biblical shadows were pointing toward. For thousands of years, incense has been associated with worship. People burn it, offer it, and watch the smoke rise toward heaven. But have you ever wondered: Does God actually need the incense we burn? If God is spirit, what kind of “incense” does He truly desire? Revelation gives us a fascinating image: incense rising before God together with the prayers of His people. Suddenly, “incense” begins to mean something much deeper. And Scripture doesn't only speak of incense. It also speaks of censers, holy fire, and unauthorized fire. So here's the bigger question: Does God accept every kind of worship? Does He accept every prayer simply because we call it prayer? In this episode, we explore the symbolism behind incense, censers, and fire in Scripture. Perhaps what matters most isn't the smoke rising from your hands— but the fragrance rising from your life. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you'd like to explore these ideas more deeply, you're welcome to join our online study group. If everyone must one day stand before God, what standard will He use? Religious identity? Good deeds? Years of faith? Throughout the Bible, we repeatedly encounter strange symbols: scales, weights, and rods. Scales measure. A rod represents authority. And in Revelation, we even encounter the rod of iron. For centuries, when people heard the phrase "end of the world," they imagined global catastrophe. The sun goes dark. The moon stops shining. The stars fall from the sky. Civilizations collapse. Humanity comes to an end. But what if that's not what the prophecies were talking about? What if the end was never about the destruction of the planet, but the end of a corrupted age? Throughout history, every major transformation began the same way. An old system failed. An old order collapsed. And a new one emerged. Perhaps the real question is not: "When will the world end?" But: "What kind of world is ending?" In this episode, we explore a different way of understanding the End Times. Could prophecy be describing the fall of an old spiritual system? The collapse of a corrupted order? The end of one age, and the beginning of another? If so, the End Times may not be a message of fear. They may be a message of renewal. Because sometimes, before something new can begin, something old must come to an end. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you'd like to explore these ideas more deeply, you're welcome to join our online Tao Te Ching study group. Most people assume these are simply stories about nature. But what if they were never the real subject? What if these things were meant to help us understand something deeper? Why did ancient sages use trees to describe life, seeds to describe growth, and sheep to describe people? If sacred texts were written in parables, then perhaps the world around us is the key to understanding them. In this episode, we explore a thought-provoking possibility: What if sacred texts were never really about trees, sheep, or seeds? What if they were about people all along?
