Since 2020, Deevoy has been investigating practices of involuntary euthanasia in the UK. In 2021, she produced the documentary A Good Death? (Ickonic), and in 2024 she produced Playing God (Trailblazer). Her films are not an easy watch, as she hears shocking and tragic testimonies from victims’ families. Nevertheless, they are important, because they graphically confirm the return of practices previously associated with Nazi Germany, as I have written about in Wall Street, the Nazis, and the Crimes of the Deep State (pp. 32-34, 141-147). It is well known historically that state-sanctioned euthanasia in Nazi Germany (so-called “deaths of mercy”) was the thin of the edge of the wedge that led to genocide. It is, therefore, troubling to see that “assisted dying” is set to become law in the UK with MPs voting in favour of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) bill in June 2025. Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary during Covid, was campaigning for this back in 2020, and he even made a travel exemption during the “lockdowns” for those wishing to travel abroad to end their own life. Similar moves are happening transnationally, viz. the MAID program in Canada, which has grown significantly since is inception and by 2022 represented the sixth highest cause of death in Canada. But these are just the officially approved deaths. The shocking truth uncovered by Deevoy is that many more people in the UK are being unofficially killed by the state under the guise of so-called “care protocols.” She writes:UNSEEN pulls no punches. It lays bare the chilling reality of the "care pathways" that became death sentences. Grieving families, their voices raw with pain, share stories of loved ones lost to deadly guidelines, designed by government body NICE [the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence] and enforced by medics.The film exposes the rampant concomitant use of lethal medications, the secretive imposition of Do Not Resuscitate orders and the haunting return in 2020 of end-of-life protocols that echo the disgraced and abolished Liverpool Care Pathway.As harrowing as some of these tales are, Deevoy and Brown have done a great service in shining a light on one of the many dark aspects of the totalitarianism that has been incrementally spreading across the West since 2020. In that context, it is interesting that Wallace shows the following diagram from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC): Although the IEC claims that this is about managing biodigital convergence responsibly to meet “global challenges,” the other way of looking at it is that the UN Sustainable Development Goals (2015) serve to camouflage and legitimise the central agenda of “biodigital convergence & bioengineering.” In this way, the overarching project announced in the early 2000s, with key milestones forecast for 2020, 2025, and 20230, remains on course. A key technological breakthrough towards biodigital convergence came in 2010 when Charles Lieber and his colleagues invented nanowire transistors so small that they could “enter and probe cells without disrupting the intracellular machinery,” enabling “two-way communication with individual cells” (Shaw, 2011). Soon afterwards, enormous amounts of funding began flowing into graphene and neurotechnology research (Hughes, 2024a, pp. 338-342). In 2018, Pentagon neuroscience adviser, James Giordano, characterised the brain as “the twenty-first-century battlescape,” claiming that it is possible to “put minimal sized electrodes in a network within a brain through only minimal intervention to be able to read and write into the brain function, in real time, remotely” (Giordano, 2018). Thus, the military dimension to biodigital convergence is undeniable. This has never fundamentally been about health. “Healthcare”While developments in biodigital technology were accelerating towards weaponisation in the 2010s, the IT/Bio/Nano concept was repackaged for the public in terms of medicine and healthcare. For example, in 2012, “Medical Body Area Networks” (MBAN) were given the stamp of approval by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (Harbert, 2012). Ignoring the previous literature on biodigital convergence, Zafar et al. (2021) falsely claim that “the idea of integrating biological cells into the communication engineering perspective was first proposed by Akyildiz et al. [2015],” in the context of transmitting “vital physiological parameters” to a “remote healthcare provider.” Akyildiz’s project “PANACEA: Internet of BioNanoThings for Early Detection and Mitigation of Infections” (2018) frames the “Internet of BioNanoThings” in terms of disease prevention. Ostensibly, it is about “a revolution in biomedical technologies” intended to “improve human health and quality of life” (Guler, 2018). “The Internet of Medical Things,” according to Viziello et al. (2023), “will enable next generation healthcare by enhancing human abilities, supporting continuous body monitoring and restoring lost physiological functions due to serious impairments.” The misleading term “enhancement” is also common to the transhumanist literature (Johnson et al., 2024), and it disguises the weaponizable potential of the new technologies. Evidence shown by Wallace indicates that the market value of the “Body Area Network” is gigantic: $30.8 billion in 2022, forecast to rise 22.3% p.a. to $229.8 billion in 2023. As with transhumanist technologies, there is massive investment. Akyildiz has made it big as a so-called “Megagrant Leader.”Human Bodies as Nodes on a Control GridAssuming, as I think Wallace and I do, that “healthcare” in this context is merely a smokescreen intended to conceal military measures and render transhumanist technologies more palatable to the public, it is interesting to ignore the medical and healthcare language in the relevant literature and to see what is left. For example, the IEEE Biomedical Circuits and Systems Conference, held in Toronto in October 2023, explored the following technologies: “Biosensor Devices and Interface Circuits”; “Body Area/Sensor Networks”; “Innovative Circuits for […] Biofeedback, Neuromodulation, and Closed-Loop Systems”; “Biotelemetry and Energy Harvesting/Scavenging Circuits and Systems”; and “Lab-on-Chip / BioMEMS / Point-of-Care Devices.” Applications based on those technologies include: “Artificial Intelligence of Things”; “Bio-signal Recording”; “Machine Learning”; “Genomics and Systems Biology”; “Human-Machine Interfaces”; and “Bioinformatics.” Shorn of the medical terminology, these concepts create the impression of human brains and bodies as mere nodes on a technocratic network, to be monitored and managed by A.I.That, indeed, appears to be the plan. An IEEE paper, titled “Industrial Cyberphysical Systems: A Backbone of the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” claims that Cyberphysical systems (CPSs) are perceived as the pivotal enabler for a new era of real-time Internet-based communication and collaboration among value-chain participants, e.g., devices, systems, organizations, and humans. (Colombo et al., 2017).Here, humans must be connected to the control grid just like any other object; it has nothing to do with health. The National Institute for Standards and Technology launched a “CPS [Cyber-Physical Systems] Public Working Group” in 2017 to advance interoperability between different elements and systems on the grid. More recently, there has been a strong drive, spearheaded by Tony Blair, to ensure “interoperability” in relation to so-called “vaccine passports.” Again, once the misleading reference to health is stripped out, all that remains is the image of human beings as nodes on a biodigital control network. Wallace notes developments in “brain-to-brain” and “muscle-to-muscle” interfaces, whereby one person’s thought processes can directly control the bodily movements of someone else. Thus,The intention from one subject (sender) is recognized using electroencephalography (EEG) based brain-computer interface (BCI), which is sent out to trigger transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) on the other subject (receiver) and induce hand motion. (Mashat et al., 2017)Proof of concept for this was first established in 2011; the first brain-to-brain interface involving rodents was achieved in 2013; the first human-to-human study took place in 2014; and the brains of multiple rats were connected bidirectionally in 2015 (Nam et al., 2021). I have provided an edited machine translation below. Interview with David A. Hughes: World War III Started in 2020The Third World War started in 2020. It is not about territory, but about control over the human mind. It is waged by a transnational ruling class against the rest of the population. This is what academic David Hughes argues in an impressive new book, Covid-19, Psychological Operations, and the War for Technocracy. Hughes, building on the work of Professor Kees van der Pijl, argues that we are dealing with a globalised class struggle. “World inequality has become so great, the oligarchic capitalist system is so skewed, that the ruling class must adopt a new model of governance, a global technocracy, a kind of bio-digital form of totalitarianism.”It is not often that an academic is able to publish a book from university that argues that events such as Covid policies and the 9/11 attacks were deliberate actions part of a ruling class war. David Hughes, who teaches International Relations at Lincoln University in England and was educated at the University of Oxford, succeeded wonderfully. He says he “simply went through all the procedures” and then submitted his research proposal for peer review. “After three reviews, my book was published by a respected publisher, Palgrave.” Nevertheless, Hughes has now run into problems. He says his academic career is coming to an end, but does not want to go into details. He has made his book – which is very expensive to purchase – available online for free, so that as many interested people as possible can read it. He is even working on a second volume, for which he needs financial support from readers. (See below.)Hughes 'woke up' in December 2016, he says, when he was confronted with the collapse of the WTC7 building in New York. “You don't need to be a student to see that the only way WTC7 could collapse the way it did was if all the columns were destroyed at the same time. This could never have been caused by isolated fires resulting from debris that had fallen from the Twin Towers hours earlier. That showed to me that the official version of 9/11 is a lie.” In 2020, he published a peer-reviewed article (9/11 Truth and the Silence of the IR Discipline), in which he expresses his surprise that his fellow academics working on 'international relations' (IR) refuse to look at the evidence surrounding 9/11 – “the most important political event in 21st century Western history to date.” Now, more than four years later, his article has still not been challenged by anyone.For Hughes, 'Corona' is an extension of 9/11. In his book he shows, supported by hundreds of references, that it was the largest psychological operation in history, based on years of psychological and social engineering experiments aimed at controlling the population. According to Hughes, this psychological warfare is part of a class struggle waged by the international oligarchy against the common man, in an attempt to install a technocratic system of control. He is not alone in this, but unlike many critics of globalism, he looks at the seizure of power through Marxist glasses.You analyse recent years in the context of class war and psychological warfare, supported by numerous examples. I found it very helpful to have the context, chronology, and academic references.This is the most important political issue of our time and we need intellectuals to apply their skills to try to understand what exactly it is, what we have endured in recent years. The big picture is what is missing at the moment. What fundamentally took place? The world did not just turn completely upside down on its own, people did not go crazy on their own, for no reason whatsoever. All the measures were based on far-reaching planning that was rolled out very systematically.You describe this in terms of a class struggle. Can you explain that?I build on the work of Kees van der Pijl in States of Emergency. We have a world population of almost eight billion people. Income inequality has never been greater. The richest 10 percent control 76 percent of the world's wealth, the poorest 50 percent own only 2 percent. As you get closer to the top, inequality increases exponentially. This oligarchic capitalist system is so unbalanced that it is no longer accepted. What Van der Pijl documents in his book is that mass protests broke out in 35 countries in 2019. In addition, there was a crisis in the international financial system and the Western propaganda system fell into crisis, because fewer and fewer people trusted the mass media. Therefore, the ruling class needed a new model of governance. As far as I can tell, that model is a global technocracy, a kind of bio-digital form of totalitarianism.Most people are no longer used to thinking in terms of a class struggle.No, there's a reason for that. Marxist discourse has been consciously driven out of the academic debate. Marxism is equated with Stalinism, with totalitarian dictatorship. But the basic premise of Marxism is that history is the outcome of class conflict. What I argue in my book is that we now have a globalised version of class conflict. It annoys me that many people call the World Economic Forum (WEF) a Marxist organisation. It’s the opposite. The WEF is concerned with the coordination of capitalist interests against the working class. They don't do it for the workers.”What motivates the ruling class?What has happened in recent years is an attempt to transform societies top-down. Throughout history, war has always been necessary for such projects to be successful. I think World War III actually started in 2020. It's nothing like the other world wars. The Second World War was nothing like the First. The current war is being waged by the transnational ruling class, which comprises a tiny fraction of the world's population, against the rest of us. They can do this because they control money creation, the means of production and the media, among other things. The war is being waged on many fronts: economic war, information war, psychological war. Most people are not aware of this, while the battle revolves around their body and mind. They are part of it whether they want to be or not. That, in a nutshell, I think is the big picture. The hard truth is that we are in a war that we didn't ask for. But, I think it is better to face evil and be honest about the circumstances we find ourselves in, rather than bury our heads in the sand.You explain in your book that – because this is a war of the few against the many – it is mainly waged clandestinely, as a psychological war. It was known that the corona measures such as face masks, lockdowns and keeping distance did not work against corona, but were known as psychological warfare tactics and torture practices.Yes, after World War I many soldiers came back shell-shocked. What the psychiatrists discovered is that the soldiers were then very impressionable. They explored ways to exploit that state of shock, not just in individuals, but in entire societies. In the 1960s they came up with the idea of ​​'social turbulence', which keeps the population on edge through a series of shocks and crises, making them more receptive to propaganda. Consider, for example, the oil price shock in the 1970s and various false-flag terrorist attacks, such as Gladio (operations in Europe in which secret services led by NATO carried out false-flag attacks on the civilian population – ed.). In her book The Shock Doctrine, Naomi Klein elaborates further on the (ab)use of shock. These methods have now been applied again. At the moment of shock you can implant all kinds of trigger words and images. In the case of Covid, the lockdowns were the moment of shock, alongside other techniques dating back almost a hundred years, such as isolation and defamiliarization. Defamiliarization makes a world that was familiar and comfortable suddenly strange and uncanny. Suddenly everyone is walking around in masks and acting absurdly. What used to be normal is suddenly surreal and grotesque. That puts people out of balance mentally.In addition to exploiting the shock state, you also spend a chapter on trauma-based control and how those techniques have been applied in Covid times.Most people think of torture as medieval practices such as quartering. But it has been known for centuries that this is not an effective method of torture at all. What became clear from the MKUltra experiments is that the most effective forms of torture are psychological. They discovered that when you torture people, force them to hurt or even kill others, or force people to hurt themselves, combined with suppressing sensory sensations (sensory deprivation), they become extremely susceptible to programming. Consider face masks, for example. Sure, surgeons wear masks, but that's not to prevent viral transmission. The only other time I can find where people were required to wear masks was Guantánamo Bay. And maybe you're thinking, that's a coincidence or that was to protect the guards. But that statement does not hold true when you look closely at the photos. Hughes: World War III Started in 2020The Third World War started in 2020. It is not about territory, but about control over the human mind. It is waged by a transnational ruling class against the rest of the population. This is what academic David Hughes argues in an impressive new book, Covid-19, Psychological Operations, and the War for Technocracy. Hughes, building on the work of Professor Kees van der Pijl, argues that we are dealing with a globalised class struggle. “World inequality has become so great, the oligarchic capitalist system is so skewed, that the ruling class must adopt a new model of governance, a global technocracy, a kind of bio-digital form of totalitarianism.”It is not often that an academic is able to publish a book from university that argues that events such as Covid policies and the 9/11 attacks were deliberate actions part of a ruling class war. David Hughes, who teaches International Relations at Lincoln University in England and was educated at the University of Oxford, succeeded wonderfully. He says he “simply went through all the procedures” and then submitted his research proposal for peer review. “After three reviews, my book was published by a respected publisher, Palgrave.” Nevertheless, Hughes has now run into problems. He says his academic career is coming to an end, but does not want to go into details. He has made his book – which is very expensive to purchase – available online for free, so that as many interested people as possible can read it. He is even working on a second volume, for which he needs financial support from readers. (See below.)Hughes 'woke up' in December 2016, he says, when he was confronted with the collapse of the WTC7 building in New York. “You don't need to be a student to see that the only way WTC7 could collapse the way it did was if all the columns were destroyed at the same time. This could never have been caused by isolated fires resulting from debris that had fallen from the Twin Towers hours earlier. That showed to me that the official version of 9/11 is a lie.” In 2020, he published a peer-reviewed article (9/11 Truth and the Silence of the IR Discipline), in which he expresses his surprise that his fellow academics working on 'international relations' (IR) refuse to look at the evidence surrounding 9/11 – “the most important political event in 21st century Western history to date.” Now, more than four years later, his article has still not been challenged by anyone.For Hughes, 'Corona' is an extension of 9/11. In his book he shows, supported by hundreds of references, that it was the largest psychological operation in history, based on years of psychological and social engineering experiments aimed at controlling the population. I do not accept the “Hurricane Erin” hypothesis, nor do I think that the Alaskan magnetometer data reveals anything significant. As Andrew Johnson recognised years ago, there are three key layers to perception management: (i) the official narrative, (ii) the official approved alternative narrative, and (iii) the truth. Most people, it seems, fall into Camp 1, blindly believing whatever the government and the mainstream media tell them, unable to think for themselves. For those who make it out of Camp 1 into Camp 2, a decoy narrative awaits, promoted by organised fake dissidents. Because it is a military operation, Camp 2 is vaster than most sceptics of Camp 1 would ever expect: its fake heroes, relentlessly promoted on “alternative” channels, are intended to hoover up opposition voices. Very few people make it out of Camp 2 into Camp 3, where the truth awaits. In the case of “9/11,” the official narrative was “Muslim hijackers,” the approved alternative narrative was “nanothermite,” and the truth was black technology used to destroy the Twin Towers as exposed by Wood’s research. In the case of “Covid-19,” the official narrative is a deadly virus, the approved alternative narrative is anything related to public health/pharmaceuticals, and the truth is a deep state military operation involving bio-nano technology. I thought people were more open minded in the organization but was wrong. I fear that they succumb to exactly the phenomenon you describe of people who ridicule something when not having actually read the article or book and know nothing of the topic. I am extremely upset by this. unfortunately it is/was out of my control.Thus, it would appear that some form of covert action is at work within CovertAction Magazine itself, capable of overriding a “managing editor” when it comes to Wood’s research. Rather than re-record the presentation, I have left in the reference to CovertAction Magazine as a reminder of its censorship of Wood’s research.
