This mixtape stages a collision between labor, rhythm, resistance, and refusal. It draws on tracks that blur the lines between working and moving, body and beat, compliance and revolt. From the mechanistic pulse of LNR’s “Work It to the Bone” to the militant discipline of Throbbing Gristle and the industrial outcry of Test Dept., this is music that compels motion even as it questions why and for whom we move. The selections shift between histories and geographies: the blues of Jimmy 'Preacher' Ellis and Leadbelly, the ritual songs of West African rice planters, the psychedelic opacity of DJ Assault and Three 6 Mafia’s Southern gothic hip hop, and the ambient explorations of Hiroshi Yoshimura. Each track echoes with the tension of survival and the aesthetic of endurance. This is not a celebration of productivity,  it is an archive of struggle, friction, and the slow groove of defiance. Play it while you work, or refuse to.
