That connection matters deeply. Jesus was showing that being filled with the Spirit also means learning how to forgive, pray for people, and intercede for others the same way He intercedes for us.
Many people preach the gospel from a place of judgment, fear, or condemnation. But Jesus preached truth with love. Yes, repentance matters. Yes, sin matters. But Jesus also understood that every person deserves the opportunity to encounter the grace of God. Too many people are quick to tell others they are doomed, hopeless, or beyond redemption, but that was never the spirit of Christ.
Jesus came to save people, not destroy them.
When we become followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His heart. That means loving enemies, praying for people who hurt us, forgiving those who wrong us, and believing that God can still transform someone no matter how broken they look today. Sometimes we forget that somebody once prayed for us too. Somebody showed us kindness. Somebody forgave us when we did not deserve it. And because of those prayers and acts of mercy, many of us are where we are today.
That is the beauty of intercession.

Humans are impressed by titles, numbers, followers, church positions, and appearances. GOD is not moved by any of that if the heart is corrupt.Sometimes we are harder on ourselves than GOD is. Some people truly believe GOD is sitting there angry because they forgot to pray one night after being exhausted from life. Meanwhile GOD understands your struggles, your pain, your stress, and your heart posture.Matthew 22:37 says:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.”Notice how it says HEART first.GOD wants sincerity. He wants kindness. He wants humility. He wants love. He wants forgiveness. He wants people who genuinely care about others instead of pretending to be holy for attention.Honestly, some of the meanest people sit in church every week while some broken people outside the church have hearts full of compassion and love. That should tell people something.Stop thinking GOD only values religious activity. He values transformation of the heart. Yes, prayer matters. Yes, giving matters. Yes, serving matters. But none of those things mean anything if your heart is full of bitterness, jealousy, hate, arrogance, and cruelty.At the end of the day, GOD is not asking you to be perfect. He is asking you to have a heart that is willing to love, grow, repent, and seek Him honestly.

The issue is that we’re not present enough to hear Him. We’re distracted. We’re prideful. And sometimes… we’re just not ready to accept the truth. But here’s where it shifts: maturity is when you start praying differently. “Lord, don’t just speak to me—prepare me to receive it.”
“Correct my heart so I don’t reject what I need.”
“Help me recognize your voice—even when it’s uncomfortable.” Because once you get to that place, everything changes. You stop running from truth… and start growing through it. God is speaking. The question is—are you finally ready to listen?

But living it? That’s the real work. That’s where the consistency shows up.  And honestly, this is why a lot of people don’t take Christianity seriously. It’s not always the message—it’s the messengers. When people see hypocrisy, it turns them off completely. You can’t tell someone “God is love” but you’re full of hate. You can’t talk about honesty but you’re lying and manipulating people. That’s what makes people question everything. And then we wonder why folks don’t want to come to church or don’t trust believers. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being real.

If you mess up, own it. If you’re struggling, say that. But don’t act like you’re walking in something that you’re not even trying to live. That’s where the problem comes in.  Because when you’re in a position where you’re teaching, leading, or even just speaking about God, people are watching you whether you like it or not. They’re building trust based on what you say AND what you do. And if those two things don’t line up, your credibility starts to fall apart.

When we look at the story of King Solomon in the Bible, we see a powerful example of this truth. Solomon is known as one of the wisest men who ever lived. When God appeared to him and asked what he desired, Solomon did not ask for riches, power, or long life. Instead, he asked for wisdom so that he could lead God’s people with understanding and fairness.
Because Solomon’s request pleased God, God gave him wisdom beyond measure. But that was not all. God also blessed him with wealth, honor, and influence unlike any king before him. Solomon became incredibly prosperous. His kingdom flourished, his reputation spread across nations, and people traveled from far away just to hear the wisdom that God had given him.

At first glance, this seems like the perfect story. A man asks God for wisdom, God gives it to him, and with it comes riches and power. But when we continue to read the story of Solomon’s life, we learn something very important. Even with all the wisdom God gave him, Solomon was still human, and he still struggled with temptation and disobedience. God had clearly warned the kings of Israel not to marry many women, especially foreign women who worshipped other gods. The reason for this warning was simple. God knew that these relationships could lead the king’s heart away from Him. Unfortunately, Solomon did not follow that command.

That’s not our authority. Judgment belongs to God alone.God is not a God of “just a select few.” He is a God of everybody. And in this season, a lot of people are praying for blessings while simultaneously asking God to punish someone else. But mercy doesn’t work like that. You don’t get to demand grace for yourself while denying it to others. That door doesn’t stay open.This is why some people feel stuck spiritually.

That doesn’t mean excusing behavior.
That doesn’t mean trusting people blindly.It means understanding that God specializes in transformation, not permanent labeling.And here’s the part that really sat heavy with me: many of the same people who were given patience, time, and mercy by God are now the loudest voices saying someone else should get none. That’s not discernment—that’s pride dressed up as righteousness.God touched my soul with this because He made it clear:
If you want mercy, you must walk in mercy.
If you want grace, you must extend grace.

We are quick to believe the bad in people, quick to repeat it, quick to disqualify them, but when it comes to ourselves, we want grace, mercy, and understanding. That contradiction? God had something to say...I didn’t.And God didn’t meet us at our worst just to abandon us there.What really struck me was this: when we cancel people out completely, we are silently telling God, “I decide who deserves grace.” And that’s not our place. That’s not our authority. Judgment belongs to God alone.God is not a God of “just a select few.” He is a God of everybody. And in this season, a lot of people are praying for blessings while simultaneously asking God to punish someone else. But mercy doesn’t work like that. You don’t get to demand grace for yourself while denying it to others. That door doesn’t stay open.This is why some people feel stuck spiritually.

Even if you were nervous or hurt…
Even if your mind was all over the place…You still didn’t make the situation worse.
You still didn’t step out of character.
You still didn’t go against the Word of God.And guess what? That matters. Heaven sees that.God isn’t looking for perfect people — He is looking for people who choose Him even when their feelings are lying to them. That’s real faith right there. That’s maturity. That’s growth.So please stop thinking something is wrong with you because you “don’t feel God” every second. Faith is not a feeling — faith is knowing. Faith is standing on His promises when your emotions are having a meltdown in the background. Faith is saying, “Lord, I trust You,” even when your heart is shaking.Feelings come and go. God stays.
Feelings shift. God is constant.
Feelings confuse you. God brings clarity.Next time your emotions start lying to you, remind yourself:
“My feelings are temporary. God is eternal.”

They carry a Bible, they show up to church, they quote scripture, and they know how to look holy on the outside — but inside, their heart is far from God. There’s bitterness, jealousy, judgment, and pride sitting in the seat where love is supposed to be. They think knowing God is about checking boxes, following rules, and appearing righteous in front of others. But God has never been impressed by performance. He looks at the heart, the motives, the posture of your spirit when nobody else is watching. And yet, the very people who claim to know Him often forget the first thing God teaches us: love. They forget compassion. They forget humility. They forget that everyone is in need of grace. Instead, they look at someone who has fallen, someone who is struggling, someone who doesn’t hide their flaws — and they judge them.

They distance themselves. They lift themselves up as if their rule-keeping makes them superior. But God has always favored honesty over appearance. He would rather deal with a broken sinner who says, “Lord, I need You,” than a self-proclaimed righteous person who acts like they’ve got it all figured out. That’s why in Scripture, Jesus spent more time with the sinners, the outcasts, the ones society labeled as “unworthy.” Not because they were perfect — but because they were open. They knew they needed God. They knew they didn’t have the strength to pretend. They didn’t hide their struggles behind religion. They came to Him with their real selves, their real pain, and their real hearts. And that’s what many people today still don’t understand. Knowing God isn’t about being spotless.

 It’s about being surrendered. It’s about being real. It’s about having a heart that says, “Lord, I love You, and I want to grow,” even when your life is messy. God honors humility. He honors sincerity. He honors truth. What’s dangerous is when someone thinks their religious actions prove they know God. They get comfortable. They get prideful. They feel entitled to judge others. But inside, they have no peace. No love. No compassion. And the truth is, that darkness in the heart is what separates a person from truly knowing the Lord — not the lack of perfection, not the struggle, not the weakness. So today’s message is a reminder: God is not looking for people who act holy. He’s looking for people who want Him. People who seek Him from the heart.

People who admit their flaws and still believe they are loved. People who don’t just perform righteousness but live it through kindness, forgiveness, and humility. If you’ve ever felt like you weren’t good enough, or like someone tried to make you feel less spiritual because of your mistakes, let this message free you: God meets the honest heart before He meets the perfect performance. They murdered Him — right there on the cross. He was hanging there in pain most of us couldn’t even imagine. His body was torn. His heart was hurting. The same people He came to save were the ones tearing Him down. And yet, in the middle of all of that torture, Jesus did something that shows us exactly how we are supposed to live: He said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Do you understand how powerful that is? He didn’t wait until the pain was over.
He didn’t wait until people apologized.
He didn’t wait for them to understand. Jesus forgave them right in the middle of the hurt.
Right in the middle of the betrayal.
Right in the middle of being wronged. And if He could do that… what is our excuse? If people hurt us, lie on us, backstab us, disappoint us, or break our hearts, we still have to find the strength — even if it’s shaking and messy — to say: “Lord, I forgive, even though it hurt me.” Not because the person was right.
Not because the pain disappears.
But because forgiveness sets YOUR soul free. 🌟 Nobody Has the Right to Count You Out — ONLY GOD DOES Let me make this loud and clear because people get real bold in church spaces: No one — not a leader, not a prophet, not a pastor, not a bishop, not a pope — has the right to decide who God accepts. That power belongs to God alone. People love to walk around acting like they hold the keys to heaven, like they can declare who is worthy and who is not. But the truth is: Only God sees the heart.
Only God decides destiny.
Only God says who makes it and who doesn’t. And God doesn’t count people out. So why are we letting others count us out?
Why are we counting ourselves out? 🌟 If Jesus Forgave His Murderers, You Don’t Get to Disqualify Yourself Think about this carefully: Jesus forgave the very people who nailed Him to a cross.
Jesus forgave the people who mocked Him and spit on Him.
Jesus forgave the ones who beat Him and betrayed Him. He forgave murderers. So what makes you think your mistakes are too big for God? Most of us have never done anything close to that level of wrong. So if Jesus looked down from that cross, saw the worst sin happening right in front of Him, and STILL forgave… You are not disqualified.
You are not too far gone.
You are not beyond grace. If Jesus can forgive those who killed Him, you can forgive yourself for the things you’ve been carrying for years. And more importantly: God already forgave you. 🌟 Preach the Gospel, Not Condemnation Our job as believers is simple: We preach the gospel.
We love people.
We encourage them.
We help them walk closer to Christ. We do NOT get to play judge.
We do NOT get to decide who is worthy.
We do NOT get to close doors God is trying to open. Only God chooses.
Only God qualifies.
Only God restores. And if He forgave murderers, then He sure can forgive you for the small things you’ve done. 🌟 Final Word Take notes from Jesus.
Follow His example.
Forgive others.
Forgive yourself.

They murdered Him — right there on the cross. He was hanging there in pain most of us couldn’t even imagine. His body was torn. His heart was hurting. The same people He came to save were the ones tearing Him down. And yet, in the middle of all of that torture, Jesus did something that shows us exactly how we are supposed to live: He said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Do you understand how powerful that is? He didn’t wait until the pain was over.
He didn’t wait until people apologized.
He didn’t wait for them to understand. Jesus forgave them right in the middle of the hurt.
Right in the middle of the betrayal.
Right in the middle of being wronged. And if He could do that… what is our excuse? If people hurt us, lie on us, backstab us, disappoint us, or break our hearts, we still have to find the strength — even if it’s shaking and messy — to say: “Lord, I forgive, even though it hurt me.” Not because the person was right.
Not because the pain disappears.
But because forgiveness sets YOUR soul free. 🌟 Nobody Has the Right to Count You Out — ONLY GOD DOES Let me make this loud and clear because people get real bold in church spaces: No one — not a leader, not a prophet, not a pastor, not a bishop, not a pope — has the right to decide who God accepts. That power belongs to God alone. People love to walk around acting like they hold the keys to heaven, like they can declare who is worthy and who is not. But the truth is: Only God sees the heart.
Only God decides destiny.
Only God says who makes it and who doesn’t. And God doesn’t count people out. So why are we letting others count us out?
Why are we counting ourselves out? 🌟 If Jesus Forgave His Murderers, You Don’t Get to Disqualify Yourself Think about this carefully: Jesus forgave the very people who nailed Him to a cross.
Jesus forgave the people who mocked Him and spit on Him.
Jesus forgave the ones who beat Him and betrayed Him. He forgave murderers. So what makes you think your mistakes are too big for God? Most of us have never done anything close to that level of wrong. So if Jesus looked down from that cross, saw the worst sin happening right in front of Him, and STILL forgave… You are not disqualified.
You are not too far gone.
You are not beyond grace. If Jesus can forgive those who killed Him, you can forgive yourself for the things you’ve been carrying for years. And more importantly: God already forgave you. 🌟 Preach the Gospel, Not Condemnation Our job as believers is simple: We preach the gospel.
We love people.
We encourage them.
We help them walk closer to Christ. We do NOT get to play judge.
We do NOT get to decide who is worthy.
We do NOT get to close doors God is trying to open. Only God chooses.

Let me say this real plain: stop counting people out before God has finished with them. Too many folks — especially in the church — are quick to label, quick to judge, and quick to cast out the very people God is trying to call in. Somewhere along the way, we forgot that the same grace that saved us is the same grace that can save them. When somebody walks into the house of the Lord, maybe they’re not dressed like you, maybe they’re still struggling, maybe their lifestyle doesn’t line up with your standards — but that doesn’t mean they’re not welcome at God’s table. Because guess what? It’s not your table. God said in His Word, “I have prepared a table before you in the presence of your enemies.” He’s the one who sets the table, pours the drink, and breaks the bread — and He decides who gets to sit down, not man. It hurts my heart to see how many people walk into church broken and walk back out even more broken because someone looked at them sideways, whispered about their past, or acted like they didn’t belong. But if the truth be told, every single one of us has walked into God’s presence carrying something — shame, guilt, addiction, pride, unforgiveness — something. But the beauty of grace is this: you don’t leave the same way you came. God’s Word says, “He prepares a table for us.”


That means everyone has a seat — the addict, the liar, the gossip, the one who fell, the one who’s still trying to stand. The same blood that covers the preacher covers the sinner too. That’s why Jesus told the woman at the well, “I will give you water where you will never thirst again.” He didn’t shame her, He didn’t condemn her — He offered her something better. That’s what love looks like. That’s what the church is supposed to be.  See, the problem today is that too many people are playing God, trying to decide who’s qualified for His kingdom. But let me remind you — we don’t have that authority. God does.


He knows every heart, every motive, every struggle, and every story. Our job is not to fix people; it’s to lead them to the One who can.  When Jesus broke bread with His disciples, He didn’t say, “Only the perfect ones can eat.” He said, “Take, eat — this is My body.” He offered it freely, knowing full well that one of them would betray Him and another would deny Him. Yet He still shared His table with them because He loved them anyway. That’s the kind of compassion God is calling us back to — the kind that sees people not for what they’ve done, but for what they can become through Him.

This is an invitation for those who are tired, worn out, and overwhelmed by life’s pressures. Jesus doesn’t ask for us to fix ourselves first or to appear perfect — He simply says, come. In Him, we find rest not just for our bodies but for our souls.Similarly, Isaiah 1:18 presents God’s heart for those entangled in sin:
"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."
God acknowledges the stain of sin but promises transformation. He doesn't tell us to clean ourselves up before approaching Him — He says to come, and He will do the cleansing. This is the essence of grace: being accepted by God despite our mess, with the assurance that He will make us new.In the final chapter of the Bible, Revelation 22:17 reiterates this open door:
"The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let the one who hears say, 'Come!' Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life."
It’s a universal call — for the thirsty, the desperate, the longing. No qualifications are required other than a desire to receive life from God.John 6:37 offers a powerful assurance from Jesus:
"All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away." There is no rejection with God when we sincerely come to Him. This verse dispels the fear of being turned away due to our past mistakes or current struggles. If we come, He receives us — fully and completely.At the same time, James 4:8 encourages us:
"Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
Drawing near to God initiates a transformation in us. Yes, repentance is necessary, but God honors our first step toward Him. He meets us where we are, guiding us into purification and renewal.Lastly, in Luke 5:31-32, Jesus reminds us why He came:
"It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Jesus didn’t come for the perfect — He came for the broken, the lost, the sick, and the sinful. He calls us as we are, but loves us too much to leave us there. Together, these scriptures form a beautiful picture of God’s grace and patience. He isn’t waiting for us to get it all together. He’s simply asking us to come — as we are — so He can do the work of healing, cleansing, and restoring in us. No matter where you are today, God’s invitation stands:

Jesus didn’t come for the perfect — He came for the broken, the lost, the sick, and the sinful. He calls us as we are, but loves us too much to leave us there. Together, these scriptures form a beautiful picture of God’s grace and patience. He isn’t waiting for us to get it all together. The Creator of the heavens and the earth, the one who commands the wind and the waves, who speaks and galaxies form, who breathes and man becomes a living soul—this God deserves our full trust, our bold faith, and our loud praise.Let us remember this truth: God will not shrink to fit into your limited understanding.

If you only see Him as small, weak, or distant, then that’s a reflection of your perception—not His reality. God will not reduce Himself to your fears. He is God Almighty, El Shaddai, Jehovah Jireh, the Ancient of Days. He is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. There is no one like Him.Yet we continue to treat God like a backup plan, like a side note, like a genie in a bottle we summon only when in crisis.

The time has come for a holy boldness to rise in the Church—a boldness that declares, “Jesus Christ is Lord, and I will not be silent about it!” The world isn’t ashamed to push its values, its agendas, and its idols, so why are we hesitant to lift up the name above every name?Let’s be clear about something: there is only one name that saves, only one name that heals, only one name that brings eternal life—and that is JESUS CHRIST. Too many people are revering prophets, apostles, pastors, and leaders. While God indeed used mighty prophets like Moses, Elijah, Isaiah, and yes, John the Baptist, none of these men were or are the Messiah.

None of them were crucified, died, and resurrected for our sins. Only Jesus Christ is worthy of worship.We don’t say, “Praise be to John the Baptist!” We say, “Praise be to the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). John himself declared, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). He understood his role. He was the forerunner. The voice crying in the wilderness. But the glory belongs to Christ alone.It is time we stop being spiritual infants, satisfied with mere crumbs of revelation. We must grow in our faith, in our authority, and in our relationship with the Lord.

God is ready to move mountains, open doors, heal nations, and pour out revival—but He is looking for people who will stop operating in small faith and start standing in bold faith.This is your reminder: God is not small. God is not weak. God is not hiding. He is powerful, present, and waiting on YOU to believe bigger. Let your faith rise. Let your worship deepen. Let your voice get louder. The enemy wants you to stay silent, fearful, and dependent on tiny expectations. But the Spirit of the Lord is calling you to step up, stand firm, and declare His greatness in the earth.

So many of us accept the miracle of salvation but struggle to accept the assignment that comes with it. You believe that God is powerful enough to save you, but you question whether He could really want to use you. And that’s where I want to pause and talk plainly. God doesn’t make mistakes. He’s not second-guessing when He calls you. He didn’t overlook your flaws or forget your past. He chose you knowing everything about you—and still said, you are good for the job. Stop Telling God What You're Not Too many people are living their lives focused on everything they’re not. “I’m not good enough.” “I don’t speak well.” “I’ve made too many mistakes.” Sound familiar? Even Moses said something similar when God called him: Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent… I am slow of speech and tongue.” —Exodus 4:10 (NIV) But God wasn’t swayed by Moses’ excuses, and He’s not swayed by yours. He’s the Creator. Who are we to tell the One who made us what we’re not capable of? When He says you are chosen, you are anointed, and you are enough, our job is to believe Him—not debate Him.

When you choose to stop and review the terms, you’re choosing to operate in wisdom.

Proverbs 4:7 says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” If you’re building a brand, opening a company, or even starting a partnership, you must read everything. Don’t let excitement rob you of discernment. The Bible is full of contracts—also known as covenants. God didn’t just make verbal promises. He made clear agreements with His people.

He told Noah, Abraham, Moses, and others exactly what He expected and what they would receive in return. And guess what? They listened. They followed instructions. That’s the kind of business mindset we need today. We can’t afford to say, “I trust them, I don’t need to read.” No. Trust must be built on truth—and truth is found in reading and understanding what’s been written.
