This understanding was underscored and reinforced by a 2011 study, reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association, the medical schools, on average, only provide Five (5) hours of academic or clinical instruction on LGBTQ+ healthcare requirements.  In the absence of specialized training; time is required to acquire first-hand real-world knowledge and experience with the diverse challenges, needs and experiences these individuals present and what they are confronted with as they live their lives in their Self-Attributed Non-Conforming Gender roles.
