The group broke up in 1993, and reformed a year later with Dodson and one other member of the original band. They continued to tour and write songs, enjoying a renewed popularity.

Dodson is also a Downs Syndrome awareness advocate and serves on the board of directors of the Downs Syndrome Association of Memphis and the Mid-South. He wrote and helped organize the recording of the song “A Message from Memphis” by a large group of well-known Memphis-born musicians for the benefit of Haiti after the 2010 earthquake there. The historical farm was used many generations for agricultural farming, family housing and a community gathering place. Currently, we are continuing this tradition and expanding the community outreach at Morney Berry Farm which includes educational tours, an expansion of farming opportunities and hosting events. There has been a long history of struggles in maintaining this land and we have a current threat to our land heritage by a high speed rail development. Ensuring that this family and community
treasure stays intact is at the top of my list. Along with property management for my personal investments.
Being the President of my neighborhood school PTA (K.B. Polk) is one of my most fulfilling and rewarding responsibilities. Spending a significant amount of time at the school and being involved to ensure all students have an opportunity to advance has been invaluable. As a prior member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. Dallas Chapter, I had an opportunity to meet and learn from some of the most influential women in the city. This allowed me to be a part of the decision making process of the organization when the Dallas chapter was active. Being aware of what my purpose is in my life has made some things easier for me but knowing the path to take can still be challenging. Making our World better for all and allowing people to see the humanity in me as a person of color and a woman are the benchmark for my life. Jody Berry

While at New Shiloh Christian Church he also formed the first Vacation Bible School the church has ever had and youth choir. In July of 2005, Elder Mason served at the Colossian Baptist Church in Newport News, Virginia as an associate minister at the age of 18 years. While being an associate minister at Colossian Baptist Church, he was the Pastor’s Armor Bearer and was the director of the Angel Chorus, and the Sunday School Teacher. He sat under the tutelage of the Reverend Dr. Peter A. Evans for over 5 years receiving orthodox teaching and sound and anointed leadership. He also participated in the Baptist Training Union Congress of Virginia at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. In April 2007, Elder Mason was ordained by the authority and order of Colossian Baptist Church. Upon being ordained, Elder Mason was officiating weddings and funerals and served as supply pastor to various churches that were without a pastor. In May of 2010, Elder Mason served as Interim Pastor to Jesus Apostolic Church in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and was licensed into the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith, International. Stanton suggested Union General William T. Sherman pose to 20 Black pastors in Savannah, Georgia, as the Civil War neared its end and enslaved African Americans neared freedom. The Black leaders wanted their own land and lived amongst themselves, stated Rev. Garrison Frazier. Minutes of this meeting were printed in the New York Daily Tribune February 13, 1865, edition and a Black publication named the Christian Recorder as well. After meeting with 20 ministers, Sherman signed Field Order 15 on January 16, 1865. The order would reserve 400,000 acres of Confederate land for members of the formally enslaved population. When the land near the Southeast coast was evenly redistributed, each family would have 40 acres of tillable land. The freedmen set out to begin working their new land immediately, with a group of 1,00 settling on Georgia’s Skidaway Island. This also created the middle class who were college educated as middle managers, labor unions, etc. 3. Distribution Age To dispute these mass-produced products from the Industrial age we needed Big Box stores like Malls, outlet malls, franchises, discount stores, Infomercials, MLM, and direct sales. 4. Technology/Information Age When Bill Gates proclaimed he wanted “a PC in everyone's desk 40 years ago” on April 4, 1975, emailed to Microsoft employees. Gates, Paul Allen, Steve Wozniacki & Michael Dell set off the TECH-KNOW-HOW revolution. Computer programmers were in the hot job market.
4. Technology/Information Age “Since you can’t own information, but you can control it” They control the flow of information with search engines like Goggle & Yahoo. Record Industry changed overnight; you once needed a Record Label to distribute music, and you can do it yourself. You once needed a book publisher, but now you can do it yourself.

Introduction: Money is like a drug. Without financial education people become addicted to money. Money makes them happy. Money solves their problems. Money heals their pain. Today, billions are addicted to the “quick fix”,” the temporary high” of money. The problem is, the “highs” becomes “lows,” and the addicts go back to work to feed their addiction. Addicts will do anything to feed their addiction. TOPC #1 WHAT IS FINANCIAL LITERACY/EDUCATION? That’s a good question and I’m glad you asked. 1. Income Money received on a regular basis for work or through investments. Payment for services, wages, salaries, commissions, fees, tips, any form of compensations to include fringe benefits or stock options. 2. Expense The cost required for something; expenitures to obtain something; payment for goods and services. 3. Asset A useful or valuable thing, person, or quality. Property, company having value to meet debts, commitments or legacies. 4. Liability The state of being responsible for something. Something that can predict cash outflow of future money. 5. Cash Cash is a current asset and is the first line item on a company balance sheet.

Money is defined as a medium of exchange in the form of coins and banknotes. Money is any object that is accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a socio-economic context. Nowadays we have cybermoney (uncountable) (informal, internet) money represented in electronic form for the purpose of financial transaction over the internet. E-money is an electronic store of monetary value in the banking computer systems or cards that can be used to transact via the telecommunication network systems.
TOPIC #1. I have learned that when I am in the money/financial conversation I consider these three things regarding peoples’ opinions”
Facts: Something that can be proven to exist via some sort of evidence. Opinion: Something that may or not be true based on facts. Principles: Something that is true in all cases, no exceptions.
My journey into the world of money and finance is not a unique one as I have discovered when the conversation starts. The following is a typical story of most American financial script. In some form or another I was told to go to school, get good grades, go to college or the military, so I can take care of myself.
So, I will go to school, graduate, join the military (job) and soon have some money to spend. I now can afford an apartment, buy a tv set, computer, new clothes, some furniture and of course a new car. And now the bills begin to come in. One day without doing the “MARRIAGE MATH,” I met someone special, sparks flew, we fell in love and got married. For a while, life is blissful because two can live as cheaply as one. We now have two incomes. Only one rent to pay, and we can afford to set a few dollars aside to buy the dream of all young couples, their own home.
TOPIC # 2. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MONEY?
We found our dream house, and now we have a mortgage. Because we have a new house. We need new furnishing, so we find a furniture store that advertises those magic words: “NO MONEY DOWN, EASY MONTH PAYMENTS.” Life is wonderful, and they throw a party to have all their friends over to see their new house, new car, contemporary furniture, and other new toys, they are now DEEPLY in debt for the rest of their lives. Then the first child arrives. The average well-educated, hardworking couple, after dropping their child off at nursery school, must put their nose to the grindstone and go to work. They become trapped by the need for job security simply because on average, they are less than three months away from financial bankruptcy. From these people, you often hear, “I can’t afford to quit, I have bills to pay.” So, we work harder, get promoted, gain more responsibility, and get a bigger house (we are told that our house is our biggest asset, and we can write it off on our taxes).

Money is defined as a medium of exchange in the form of coins and banknotes. Money is any object that is accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a socio-economic context. Nowadays we have cybermoney (uncountable) (informal, internet) money represented in electronic form for the purpose of financial transaction over the internet. E-money is an electronic store of monetary value in the banking computer systems or cards that can be used to transact via the telecommunication network systems.
TOPIC #1. I have learned that when I am in the money/financial conversation I consider these three things regarding peoples’ opinions”
Facts: Something that can be proven to exist via some sort of evidence. Opinion: Something that may or not be true based on facts. Principles: Something that is true in all cases, no exceptions.
My journey into the world of money and finance is not a unique one as I have discovered when the conversation starts. The following is a typical story of most American financial script. In some form or another I was told to go to school, get good grades, go to college or the military, so I can take care of myself.
So, I will go to school, graduate, join the military (job) and soon have some money to spend. I now can afford an apartment, buy a tv set, computer, new clothes, some furniture and of course a new car. And now the bills begin to come in. One day without doing the “MARRIAGE MATH,” I met someone special, sparks flew, we fell in love and got married. For a while, life is blissful because two can live as cheaply as one. We now have two incomes. Only one rent to pay, and we can afford to set a few dollars aside to buy the dream of all young couples, their own home.
TOPIC # 2. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MONEY?
We found our dream house, and now we have a mortgage. Because we have a new house. We need new furnishing, so we find a furniture store that advertises those magic words: “NO MONEY DOWN, EASY MONTH PAYMENTS.” Life is wonderful, and they throw a party to have all their friends over to see their new house, new car, contemporary furniture, and other new toys, they are now DEEPLY in debt for the rest of their lives. Then the first child arrives. The average well-educated, hardworking couple, after dropping their child off at nursery school, must put their nose to the grindstone and go to work. They become trapped by the need for job security simply because on average, they are less than three months away from financial bankruptcy. From these people, you often hear, “I can’t afford to quit, I have bills to pay.” So, we work harder, get promoted, gain more responsibility, and get a bigger house (we are told that our house is our biggest asset, and we can write it off on our taxes).
