On this final episode of season 1 of our podcast miniseries, This ENTREPRENEURS Life, we are joined by my good friend, and colleague, Megan Kristel founder of The Well Dressed Life. Meg was one of my first guests early on in TOL (you can listen to our conversation in episode 017). I asked Meg to come on the show to talk about some things that I suspect most entrepreneurs experience at one time or another, but don’t often talk about:  AM I GOOD ENOUGH. Some might call this, IMPOSTERS SYNDROME, or self-doubt, but ultimately, it’s the feeling of inadequacy. Meg and I pull back the curtain with our listeners, and get real about things like:  »Mom Guilt »Not turning a profit fast enough »Not having enough social media followers/newsletter subscribers »Re-inventing yourself »Feeling stretched too thin I love this episode. It's filled with honesty, authenticity, and actionable strategies.  I can't guarantee that these feelings won't happen, but if those self-doubt, fearful thoughts creep into your mind, come back to this episode and know that you are not alone.    CONNECT WITH MEGAN   WEBSITE | FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM Share the love! Welcome to episode 07 of  our miniseries This ENTREPRENEUR'S Life where our guest today is Jennie Lyon founder of Jennie Lyon Virtual Assistant Services.  There are countless moving parts to running a successful business, and as an entrepreneur we all wear multiple hats.  Let's be honest, many of these jobs are well outside our comfort zone, and areas of expertise. As much as we would all love to hire a team, or even one person to assist us, financially it may not seem do-able. Enter a Virtual Assistant! Jennie and I chatted about HOW to find a VA, and WHAT types of work you can outsource to make your life easier. Even if you are just starting out, and working on a shoestring budget, you'll definitely want to listen to our conversation! On episode 5 of our miniseries, This ENTREPRENEUR'S Life, we are joined by my buddy, Jason Moore from AWeber. If you are new to the email marketing space, there are a LOT of options out there to choose from (which can be overwhelming in itself!). Trust me, I know! I have tried almost all of them out! For the past year, I have been using AWeber, and love them so much that I have become an affiliate partner. They have the great customer service, are super affordable, and their live 24/7 support staff will literally will walk you through every step in the process!  Since our show is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs grow their business, I asked Jay to come on the show and talk about things like: »WHY entrepreneurs need email marketing, and not just rely on social media to build your audience. »HOW someone can get started with AWEBER even if they have no experience with email marketing at all. »WHAT basic information should we be looking to capture from our audience. This episode is filled with great information–check out our entire conversation below: Did you know? AWeber is no stranger to the email marketing industry--they are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year! And Jay has been with them for 10 years (which is like a lifetime in the digital marketing space!) Even though AWeber is a veteran in the industry, they are constantly coming out with new things that don't just help you with your email marketing, but make it easier and automated ('cause who doesn't want to save time?). But before I do, allow me to give you the quick back-story: Many of our loyal This ORGANIZED Life community either owns their own business, or are thinking about starting one, but may not know how or where to begin. I know, firsthand, how overwhelming and isolating it can be running your own company, especially if you are doing it alone. Throughout the course of my career, I have come to realize that most entrepreneurs are talented at what they do, but often struggle with the strategic and tactical tools of knowing how to effectively run a business.   Last year I began mentoring other professional organizers, which I absolutely love, but regardless of your industry, many of the same basic struggles apply. Whether it's knowing how to legitimize your business, create a digital footprint, or build an online community, there are countless questions that can leave you paralyzed with fear and insecurity. If you can relate, can I get a "heck yeah!" So I reached out to a bunch of friends who happen to be industry experts in their respective fields, and asked them if they'd be willing to to chat with me for a new podcast mini-series I was creating. I had one simple goal in mind: To provide simple, actionable strategies to help you grow your business- so that you can focus on what you do best. We broke those interviews into an 8-part miniseries called: This ENTREPRENEUR'S Life. "Whether you are just starting out, or knee deep in the weeds it’s never too late to surround yourself with smart people." Share the love! If you know someone who would find value in what we talked about, would you do us both a favor and SHARE this episode? (it's literally as simple as clicking the share button!)   Want More?
