The Padres have eliminated the Mets, who had a strong start to the season. Mike expresses his displeasure with how, despite a strong start to the season, the Mets squandered numerous opportunities to improve, such as their inaction during the trade deadline. He stated that he expected the team to win the league, but instead it suffered an embarrassing defeat.

He stated that he expected the team to win the league, but instead it suffered an embarrassing defeat.

To distract themselves from their frustrations and negative thoughts, they discussed the Giants' 4 and 1 NFL record.
