It’s the las- er.. first episode of the year! This episode is all about music and includes a tiny bit of time-travelling confusion. First, hosts Sophia and Faye give us the latest news on events from last as well as this school year – and to keep you on your toes, they use both old and new class names. We then hear lots of last year’s student spotlights about music tastes and musical experience, and we even get to hear some musical pieces and some brand-new jingles from this year’s students. To switch things around, Sophia hands Abigail and Muskaan’s excellent Soundbites questions over to a baffled Faye, who later gets her revenge by quizzing Sophia about her word of the month. After exchanging various wisdoms, our hosts finish the podcast with an interview with music teacher and professional musician Vera Otasek.

This episode is all about love and relationships <3 They then put the spotlight on students from 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade, to talk about what it means to be a friend, their favourite family members, and the relationships in the book “Leah on the off-beat”. After Sophia tries to guess the latest soundbite question, Faye must prove that she is “down with the youth” and can guess the latest slang word Sophia throws at her. You’ll have to listen yourself to find out if they succeed! Finally, we get to hear from Lisa Nigsch, an English and German teacher at Simonsgasse, who is training to be a sex educator.

This episode is all about jobs and careers, so you’ll hear about dream jobs, work experiences and even future plans. First, hosts Faye and Sophie present the school's news – and there’s quite a lot to tell you! They then put the spotlight on students from 1st, 4th and 8th grade (as well as host Sophia herself), who all have something to say about jobs and careers. We’re finally bringing back the soundbites game (can Sophia guess the question?). Once again, the word of the month segment features some youth slang brought in by real young person Sophia and finally, we get to hear from Irene Kamarakis and Dominik Seeböck, the Job Orientation teachers at Simonsgasse.
