Wesley Knight, Author and Senior Pastor of Revision Church Atlanta. In light of the social unrest around the death of Jacob Blake, and many others to police brutality, along with the wildfires in California, hurricanes off the Gulf Coast, all taking place in the middle of a global pandemic, many are asking about the relevance of biblical prophecy. Are we living in the last days? Is this a moment spoken of in Scripture? Should our churches be talking about prophecy? Dr. Knight walks with us through an enlightening conversation into a whole new way of understanding prophecy, one that doesn't discount the symbols and turbulent times, but actually provides hope and healing for them. This is an eye opening conversation that we know you'll enjoy.

Subscribe to our YouTube channel and follow us on

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Messagemagaz...

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/message1898/

Twitter: https://twitter.com/MESSAGE1898

And get your copy of Message Magazine in print at www.messagemagazine.com

<itunes:author>Message Podcast Network</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>In this episode Carmela and Claudia welcome Dr. C. COVID-19 has thrust our churches, schools, and businesses into an exclusively digital space. But many still don’t know how to transition, they work with organizations that are still hostile to the digital shift and are simply pushing and awaiting reopening, and still others do not have access to the internet or digital devices. Our conversation highlights the realities of both the digital divide and this pandemic induced digital shift. Tune in to hear the tremendous information these experts share with us.

Make sure to follow Kirk Nugent on all social media platforms @kirkrnugent and subscribe to his YouTube channel. William H. Lamar, Senior Pastor of Metropolitan AME Church in Washington D.C., to talk about his recent article "It's not just the coronavirus -- bad theology is killing us" published in the Faith & Leadership publication out of Duke Divinity. This is a powerful discussion that will challenge you to rethink the filter through which you understand scripture. Rev. Lamar teaches us the history of the Western Church and the ways the Bible and Scripture has been manipulated to support the efforts and agenda of those in power and key political positions. In this vain they also discuss Rev. Lamar's perspective on President Trump's photo in front of St. John's church. Join us as we discuss the bad theology of Christianity and learn how to see the Bible through a lens that elevates Christ and the holistic needs of black people.
