Bill’s father was a SUN recording artist and worked with Sam Phillips at SUN studio intermittently from 1953-61. He first recorded under the name Buddy Cunningham and later under the name Buddy Blake. Buddy was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame as the first percussionist on an Elvis Presley record. That session at SUN took place September 10, 1954 and included the following songs:
‘Tomorrow Night, Blue Moon Of Kentucky, I’ll Never Let You Go (Little Darlin’), Just Because, Satisfied, Good Rockin’ Tonight, I Don’t Care If The Sun Don’t Shine’

Bill’s older brother, B.B. Cunningham Jr., was a member of The Hombres and sang and co-wrote the hit ‘Let It All Hang Out.’ He played bass for Jerry Lee Lewis for almost 15 years.
Bill played various instruments in a number of early 1960s Memphis bands, before joining the group that eventually became The Box Tops. One of these bands, The Jynx, included Chris Bell (who later founded Big Star). Between The Jynx and The Box Tops Bill played with another Memphis group called The Jokers, which included Richard Rosebrough who later would play on a number of Big Star, Alex Chilton, and Chris Bell recordings.
Bill remained a member of the Box Tops until September of 1969, when he decided to return to school to get a music degree in performance (upright bass).
Though Bill virtually vanished from the pop music scene after he left the Box Tops, he rose in the ranks of classical musicians, playing in many symphony orchestras and in ballet and opera companies throughout the Midsouth while attending university. During this period he backed in performance artists as diverse as Eddy Arnold, Van Cliburn, Isaac Hayes, the Romeros (Spanish guitarists), and Dionne Warwick.
For a brief period Bill became a resident of Germany and worked, studied, and traveled in many European countries.
During work on his Masters Degree in music (back in the United States), Bill worked with Chris Bell at Ardent Studio, providing the string arrangement for Chris’ “You And Your Sister. ” Around this period, Bill competed with numerous bassists from across the country for an opening in the White House orchestra in Washington, DC. He won and moved to Washington. In the mid to late 1970s, he played for most White House dinners, receptions, and special quest performances for Presidents Ford and Carter and for many State Department celebrations for Secretaries of State Kissinger and Vance. During this period Bill played for numerous dignitaries, including the Queens of England and Holland, as well as various heads of states from around the world. Also, during this period Bill recorded sound tracks for a number of TV specials, including some with Jim Henson and the Muppets.
Throughout his classical music career he played with many of the world’s best known performers and conductors. For example, Bill’s last classical-music public performance was backing Itzhak Perlman and Pinchas Zukerman in a White House celebration at the signing of the Camp David Accord ( the Middle East peace agreement signed by Sadat, Begin, and Carter).
In 1979, Bill was studying in Philadelphia with Roger Scott, the principal bassist of the Philadelphia Philharmonic, when he decided to change professions. This shift led to a MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree in international business and to a profession that assists with U.S. bilateral and multilateral trade issues.
In 1996, Bill played the principal role in reforming the original Box Tops. He played bass and shared responsibility for keyboard parts with John on the ‘Tear Off’ album. Bill toured with the group from 1997-2010, holding down the bottom end on stage with his bass lines.

"I’m a cookbook author, teacher, chef, writer, coach, and speaker. I’ve been empowering people to make healthy and sustainable diet and lifestyle changes for over two decades.

How did I get here? My wake up call came when in college. My dad had suffered a heart attack, and my mom insisted I have my cholesterol checked. When I did, I was told simply that I was in a no risk category. I reported my “no risk” status to my mom, and she insisted I go back and have my blood drawn. The more accomplished I became in the kitchen, the more I craved deeper knowledge. I dove into classes in macrobiotics, integrative nutrition, and Ayurveda. I gave birth to two amazing daughters which required me to learn about food sensitivities and gut health. And I continued on my own journey, discovering the connection between food, body, mind, and soul.

Many people thought I was crazy when they saw what I was eating, but a handful were curious enough to ask me to teach them how to cook with these “unusual” ingredients, and thank goodness they did. "I’m a cookbook author, teacher, chef, writer, coach, and speaker. I’ve been empowering people to make healthy and sustainable diet and lifestyle changes for over two decades.

How did I get here? My wake up call came when in college. My dad had suffered a heart attack, and my mom insisted I have my cholesterol checked. When I did, I was told simply that I was in a no risk category. I reported my “no risk” status to my mom, and she insisted I go back and have my blood drawn. Days later, I learned that my cholesterol was through the roof. Living on cafeteria food and delivery pizza was not going to allow me to improve my health, so I moved into an apartment with a kitchen and started teaching myself how to cook and eat real food.

Most of my early meals consisted of brown rice, canned beans, and chopped raw vegetables. I had two techniques – toss it all with salad dressing or throw it all in a pot with water, simmer, and make soup (my family now lovingly refers to this as “Goodness Soup”). Most “healthy” cookbooks at that time were filled with dairy and sugar, so I just kept figuring it out on my own.

The more accomplished I became in the kitchen, the more I craved deeper knowledge. I dove into classes in macrobiotics, integrative nutrition, and Ayurveda. I gave birth to two amazing daughters which required me to learn about food sensitivities and gut health. And I continued on my own journey, discovering the connection between food, body, mind, and soul.

Many people thought I was crazy when they saw what I was eating, but a handful were curious enough to ask me to teach them how to cook with these “unusual” ingredients, and thank goodness they did. Twenty two years, four books, and hundreds of cooking classes later, I have that community to thank. Benedict's previous novel, Wolf Season, was called "required reading" by Elissa Schappell and received a starred review in Library Journal, which wrote, “In a book that deserves the widest attention, Benedict ‘follows the war home,’ engaging readers with an insightful story right up until the gut-wrenching conclusion.”

I would like to say that theorizing about what happened on 9/11, when you’re not being given answers to your questions about that day by the people who SHOULD be able to do so, is PERFECTLY normal. As is suspecting that the reason these answers aren’t being given is “sinister” in nature. As Ray McGovern said, “for people to dismiss these questioners as “conspiratorial advocates”, or “conspiratorial theorists”… that’s completely out of line because the… The questions remain because the President who should be able to answer them, WILL NOT.” When you think about everything the previous Administration did in 8 years, the idea that they might not be giving us the answers we seek because of something “sinister” is not crazy. In fact, it’s the most logical conclusion one can come to at this point. After years of obfuscation, spin, lies, and cover-ups regarding the 9/11 attacks, it is unavoidable to think that criminal complicity is the reason why.

That being said, we have not proven it beyond the shadow of doubt. We do not have documentation that shows they planned it. We do not have a signed confession from someone. We have pieces of the puzzle, and to most of us that have been doing this a long time, those pieces point to more than just Osama Bin Laden, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and 19 hijackers. If we could somehow download all of our knowledge to every person on the planet, this fight would be over tomorrow. However, we can’t do that. I wish we could. I wish the media would DO THEIR JOB. But, they’re not. Therefore, we have to be smart with how we approach people. This is America, and in America, you are innocent until proven guilty.

As I have often said, we don’t need to come up with a narrative (theory) because our facts speak for themselves. I am going to do my very best to prove my point. A lot of these facts are from mainstream news outlets. Yes, they do report the news, but they DO NOT put the pieces together, they DO NOT ask the tough questions over and over again until they get an answer, they DO NOT give these facts the attention they should, reminiscent of the attention that Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, The Swift Boat Veterans and the “Ground Zero Mosque” got, and they DO NOT portray us in any other light except as “Conspiracy Theorists.”

She was instrumental in establishing the rescue as a 501(c)(3) and has remained the President of the rescue since 2003.

"Hello Rabbit world! My name is Jonathan Silva. I’m the founder of Rabbit Savior and I would like to share my story. This past year I fought anxiety, depression, and an abundance of stress. On top of the pressures and isolation of Covid, I was dealing with some major business issues. I was not myself. There were lots of sleepless nights, and many days where I was just going through the motions. I felt like I couldn’t break through and live a life with purpose. So, I would hop on Instagram, like we all do to distract ourselves. I came across some funny rabbit pictures. They caught my attention and made me stop and think, “wow, this little guy seems so happy”. One image, in particular (to the left), made me smile. All the depression and anxiety went away completely for a brief moment. I began to follow all the rabbit pages that I could find. I had a ton of cute rabbit pictures on my phone that I would look at whenever I felt overwhelmed. It would completely change my mood and thoughts. This was a breath of fresh air for me. Then I thought, “wow, I’ll bet the owners of these awesome animals feel the same way that I am feeling”. Mind you, I’d never owned a rabbit. After a few weeks of following all these Instagram rabbit pages, I started seeing cries for help – Go Fund Me page after Go Fund Me page from rabbit owners who couldn’t afford treatments and surgeries. This left me hurting inside because these same rabbits that brought me out of the dark were now in their own dark place. I GRABBED MY CREDIT CARD AND PERSONAL LINES OF CREDIT and started donating like a mad man to save as many as I could. People began calling me the “RABBIT SAVIOR”. THAT’S WHEN RABBIT SAVIOR WAS BORN.
To help rabbits and rabbit owners I developed the Rabbit Savior membership program to reduce the cost of medical procedures, prescriptions, and rabbit care products. The program is an affordable cross between insurance, a wellness program, and a buying club with the singular goal of reducing the cost of caring for rabbits. As my team and I started building a website to offer the Bun Bill Assistance program, we added rabbit care information and links to help rescues all over the country with funding and supplies so the rescues can do what they do best, save these little guys like they saved me!
I soon learned that there is a dramatic shortage of exotic vets. This led me to my ultimate goal. To offer scholarships to high school students that want to become exotic veterinarians. This way we can build a network of rabbit vets across North America to service the amazing rabbit community. That ONE SINGLE INSTAGRAM PICTURE has led me to a deeper understanding of my life’s true purpose – to help save these amazing animals."

"Hello Rabbit world! My name is Jonathan Silva. I’m the founder of Rabbit Savior and I would like to share my story. This past year I fought anxiety, depression, and an abundance of stress. On top of the pressures and isolation of Covid, I was dealing with some major business issues. I was not myself. There were lots of sleepless nights, and many days where I was just going through the motions. I felt like I couldn’t break through and live a life with purpose. So, I would hop on Instagram, like we all do to distract ourselves. I came across some funny rabbit pictures. They caught my attention and made me stop and think, “wow, this little guy seems so happy”. One image, in particular (to the left), made me smile. All the depression and anxiety went away completely for a brief moment. I began to follow all the rabbit pages that I could find. I had a ton of cute rabbit pictures on my phone that I would look at whenever I felt overwhelmed. It would completely change my mood and thoughts. This was a breath of fresh air for me. Then I thought, “wow, I’ll bet the owners of these awesome animals feel the same way that I am feeling”. Mind you, I’d never owned a rabbit. After a few weeks of following all these Instagram rabbit pages, I started seeing cries for help – Go Fund Me page after Go Fund Me page from rabbit owners who couldn’t afford treatments and surgeries. This left me hurting inside because these same rabbits that brought me out of the dark were now in their own dark place. I GRABBED MY CREDIT CARD AND PERSONAL LINES OF CREDIT and started donating like a mad man to save as many as I could. People began calling me the “RABBIT SAVIOR”. THAT’S WHEN RABBIT SAVIOR WAS BORN.
To help rabbits and rabbit owners I developed the Rabbit Savior membership program to reduce the cost of medical procedures, prescriptions, and rabbit care products. The program is an affordable cross between insurance, a wellness program, and a buying club with the singular goal of reducing the cost of caring for rabbits. As my team and I started building a website to offer the Bun Bill Assistance program, we added rabbit care information and links to help rescues all over the country with funding and supplies so the rescues can do what they do best, save these little guys like they saved me!
I soon learned that there is a dramatic shortage of exotic vets. This led me to my ultimate goal. To offer scholarships to high school students that want to become exotic veterinarians. This way we can build a network of rabbit vets across North America to service the amazing rabbit community. Director's Notes
Over a two-and-a-half-year period, starting when I was 19, three very significant deaths appeared in my life that completely cracked my world apart. Because people didn’t know how to talk about death, I felt isolated, ghost-like. Talking about death was really taboo at that time. Although it was difficult for me, on reflection and with the advantage of time passing, I realize now how hard it must be for the dying when the people who love them most are afraid to talk with them.

My hope is that people walk away from this film asking themselves, “What do I think about all this? What do I want when I die?” My goal is not to tell people how or what to think, but to encourage the dialog, the questions and even, perhaps, some answers. Director's Notes
Over a two-and-a-half-year period, starting when I was 19, three very significant deaths appeared in my life that completely cracked my world apart. Because people didn’t know how to talk about death, I felt isolated, ghost-like. Talking about death was really taboo at that time. Although it was difficult for me, on reflection and with the advantage of time passing, I realize now how hard it must be for the dying when the people who love them most are afraid to talk with them.

My hope is that people walk away from this film asking themselves, “What do I think about all this? What do I want when I die?” My goal is not to tell people how or what to think, but to encourage the dialog, the questions and even, perhaps, some answers.
