I personally remember thinking to myself, "If I know this is a mess-up then I know other people do as well, why is nobody of rank standing up and saying anything?" I then turned on the TV to see then Lt. Col. USMC Stuart Scheller in uniform calling out those in command for their lack of leadership and accountability.

After Scheller spoke out against those in command he later faced everything from ridicule of his superiors, his friends, later thrown in military prison, ending with the loss of his family. One man failed to compromise, failed to give in, and stood his ground for what is right.

Today I have the honor of speaking with Former LT. Col. Scheller, and this is his story.

I then turned on the TV to see then Lt. Col. USMC Stuart Scheller in uniform calling out those in command for their lack of leadership and accountability.

After Scheller spoke out against those in command he later faced everything from ridicule of his superiors, his friends, later thrown in military prison, ending with the loss of his family. One man failed to compromise, failed to give in, and stood his ground for what is right.
