It’s an open question as to whether the supernatural sometimes occurs because a fragile state allows us to perceive what we might otherwise be unable to, or because a fragile psyche is a place where advanced delusions can take place. Case 26 was the first of my supernatural investigations to bear fruit. The first where I felt confident that there was no evidence that clearly disproved the subject's scary account. That this story might possibly be true. It’s hard to describe this kind of entity, whether it’s a restless spirit or a poltergeist. It’s most certainly malignant and may still represent a real and present danger to anyone who comes into contact with it.
