Divorce, raising kids, self love, domestic violence, teenagers, sex, fake people, religion, marriage, love, death and living our realest life. <br /><br />As kids primarily women we are taught we are helpless princesses that have to be rescued by a Prince Charming. We are taught especially southern girls be perfect and display perfection sweep your dirty laundry under the rug. Once my cousin got a divorce and one of her friends called her family a broken family and that pissed me off and had revaluation of how many people didn’t have the husband , mini van and Facebook picture life or even kids who had not so fairytale lives being called broken is not accurate. Broken is permanent. I like to think we are just cracked. Cracked enough to let love and light shine thru and make us each authentic.
