What if the wolf wore sheep’s clothing? What if everything wasn’t as it seemed to be on the surface?

Think about the case where an undercover cop was hiding among peaceful protestors causing chaos. Think about how so many black ppl are gunned down in the inner cities by other black ppl, what if they were just ppl wearing disguises that weren’t even black after all. The point is sometimes you have to question things. Lately ive found myself wondering why certain very real black ppl truths have not been gaining the expected traction among non whites and have in fact gotten the opposite results. For example take black lives matter. That seems to be a fair enough statement and you’d be hard pressed to find a level headed non black American who would say that black lives or any human life doesn’t matter BUT the movement has gained socially acceptable opposition in the form of white lives matter too, blue lives matter, etc. but why is the question & I think the answer is marketing.

This country thrives on marketing you can sell toxic horse meat burgers to ppl if the ads are right & cant give away healthy food if the ads are wrong.

So lets take black lives matter the name & examine it. While the meaning of the name is clear & well meaning in the minds of many people, for others The name could easily be seen to imply that some other life does not matter.

This is important because of marketing. Successful marketing involves knowing your market and your competition. If you are selling this to a non black market then you have to take into consideration their mind-set which based on programming could include sensitivity, lack of awareness and fear. In terms of knowing your competition you have to consider that you are going up against forces whose goal is to prevent your message from being received, because its to the advantage in terms of forwarding their agenda.

With this in mind would it have been better from a strictly marketing stand point to name the movement “All Americans Matter”? or “Respect All Life”? maybe – maybe not. Maybe the powers that be would have simply found a way to vilify or dehumanize that movement as well.

The same can be said for the current “white privilege” trending topic of discussion. While on the one hand it paints a clear picture on the other hand it can be said to imply that every white person has some sort of advantage while isn’t true. I believe that using such a label easily sets the stage for misunderstanding and can create more division than unity. Would a label like “color disadvantage” have made a difference in effectively expressing a point to its target audience?

Or maybe I’m wrong & these were battle cries and movements strictly designed by black ppl for black ppl with no intention of connecting and gaining traction across color lines.

P.S. What if this ‘bad marketing’ was done intentionally by those forces that are opposed to these movement?

With this in mind would it have been better from a strictly marketing stand point to name the movement “All Americans Matter”? or “Respect All Life”? maybe – maybe not. Maybe the powers that be would have simply found a way to vilify or dehumanize that movement as well. The same can be said for the current “white privilege” trending topic of discussion. While on the one hand it paints a clear picture on the other hand it can be said to imply that every white person has some sort of advantage while isn’t true. I believe that using such a label easily sets the stage for misunderstanding and can create more division than unity. Would a label like “color disadvantage” have made a difference in effectively expressing a point to its target audience? Or maybe I’m wrong & these were battle cries and movements strictly designed by black ppl for black ppl with no intention of connecting and gaining traction across color lines. P.S. * Music – we are literally being programmed but not just us our children thru the bullshit they call music – SOLUTION – don’t buy any products advertised on the stations that play that shit. Same for television – if you watch a movie that has 99% white people in it – turn it off & don’t buy products advertised on that station/media outlet
* Money – understand that every dollar you spend is powerful. Don’t shop with shitty people that treat you bad. Shop with people that look like you to build up our power as a group. Stop believing the BS that our stuff is lesser quality or costs too much – you’ll spend whatever you have to get what you want.
* Money (part 2) don’t buy new cars – you get caught in the credit trap higher interest rates etc.… buy used own your car save money and stop letting people rob you of your power.
* Money (part 3) Bank black – in fact if you ever hear of any company that isn’t treating any black person with respect – immediately sever your economic ties with them asap
* Stop being selfish – don’t wait until someone does something to you to start caring about it. If one of us is mistreated, we are all mistreated.
* Love – this is the most important because it is the foundation that makes all the others work. Love your self then extend that love outward. Say hello to people especially those you don’t know. Help old ladies. Teach little kids.
* Church – maybe you should demand that your church do more for the community – hold them accountable. How much cash are they raking in & where is it going? If they aren’t helping you (and by you, I mean us) then maybe they aren’t really on our side.

Today’s Show: Fallacies, Division and Dissonance

Dividing & conquering is an age-old technique used to win battles. For example, if a few rich people wanted to conquer or rule a large nation of poor people, an effective strategy would be to divide the larger group of people into a bunch of smaller groups & then to turn those smaller groups against each other.

The few would focus their efforts on turning young against old, men against women, short against tall, poor chicken owners against poor pig owners. With this in place the rich few could ally with one group to subdue the other and then turn on the first group.

Silly as this may sound this technique has been working for centuries. In modern times we are divided by skin color, income, education, religion, sexuality, gender, country of origin & belief systems (i.e. pro-life, should we fight certain wars, immigration, etc.)

The point is that a divided nation is easier to conquer and control. This lays a foundation for a rich few to grab & hold onto power over the masses.

You might ask: if this is real then why don’t the people unite and changes things? The answer is because the is an invisible problem.  It’s literally, nearly impossible to see because of its evil companion: cognitive dissonance. Cognitive dissonance is Defined as the mental discomfort experienced by a person who holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values. This discomfort is triggered by a situation in which a person’s belief clashes with new evidence perceived by the person.”

What this means is that people are programmed to believe in their leaders and when evidence is presented that conflicts with that belief people get uncomfortable, to put it mildly. In fact, we may need to create a new term for modern society and call it ‘cognitive aggression’.

People get angry and ready to fight to defend their beliefs however misguided or flawed despite any evidence presented to them.

So, while divide & conquer is being implemented cognitive dissonance presents the perfect cover to allow it to operate. This is called the double whammy. This is what makes communication with people nearly impossible. If the story ended here it would be bad enough, but it doesn’t.

There is a third element that comes into play that further cements the problem in place & its called argument fallacies. A fallacy is the use of invalid or otherwise faulty reasoning, or "wrong moves" in the construction of an argument. A fallacious argument may be deceptive by appearing to be better than it really is.

What this means is that ppl use ill-logic to support their belief & discount the beliefs or facts presented by of others.

This is a problem because it is a common practice and it renders open minded dialogue impossible.

Have you ever had a conversation with someone that went something like this: dude smoking crack is bad for you – maybe you should quit doing it? And their response was ‘you didn’t even graduate high school, why should I listen to you?’

Or something to that effect. That fallacy is called ‘attacks against the man’ where a person’s character is attacked rather than considering their point.

When all these factors come into play you have the perfect storm of insanity whereby you no only have the few rich at work conquering the poor masses, but you also have the poor masses working hard to defend the rich and conquer themselves.

 

This is a movie that unfortunately you can’t simply turn off…

People get angry and ready to fight to defend their beliefs however misguided or flawed despite any evidence presented to them. So, while divide & conquer is being implemented cognitive dissonance presents the perfect cover to allow it to operate. This is called the double whammy. This is what makes communication with people nearly impossible. If the story ended here it would be bad enough, but it doesn’t. There is a third element that comes into play that further cements the problem in place & its called argument fallacies. A fallacy is the use of invalid or otherwise faulty reasoning, or "wrong moves" in the construction of an argument. A fallacious argument may be deceptive by appearing to be better than it really is. What this means is that ppl use ill-logic to support their belief & discount the beliefs or facts presented by of others. This is a problem because it is a common practice and it renders open minded dialogue impossible. Have you ever had a conversation with someone that went something like this: dude smoking crack is bad for you – maybe you should quit doing it? And their response was ‘you didn’t even graduate high school, why should I listen to you?’ Or something to that effect. That fallacy is called ‘attacks against the man’ where a person’s character is attacked rather than considering their point. Can you imagine having loyalty and/or actively defending someone who is abusing or oppressing you? Well this is an actual thing and it’s realer than you might have imagined. It’s called Stockholm syndrome defined as feelings of trust or affection felt in many cases of kidnapping or hostage-taking by a victim toward a captor.

Have you ever encountered a person that had ‘abandonment issues’? We tend to look at abandonment and the people who abandon us as being negative but what if things weren’t as simple as that. What if being abandoned could be a mercy.

The blue pill is symbolic of letting go of the chains that have been keeping you tethered to a false and limiting reality. It’s about being set free, but is this fantastic talk or is there some merit to it after all?
