Since India and China are two of the fastest growing economies of the world, inevitable comparisons often occur. One such parameter is infrastructure. The linkage of a nation’s economy with the cement industry is immense. As India and China are developing economies, the contributions of the cement industry in terms of raw material requirements and creating employment opportunities is huge. China currently yields 60% of the cement produced globally while India is also moving rapidly in terms of improvement in the cement manufacturing process and production.

Public infrastructure, such as highways, roads, etc. in India mostly grew at a decent pace. They can express environmental concerns related to the cement industry on the platform. They can network and decide to benefit each other in the long run. They can seek legal opinions which apply to the complete industry. They can discuss the latest technologies related to the manufacturing of cement which can help the country to emerge as one of the key players of cement manufacturing around the globe.

In the long run, there is a huge possibility that we have a scope to achieve even greater feats in the cement domain.While the development in China attracts mid investors, our country will attract long term investors , that’ll help open new avenues for growth of the country’s economy and employment opportunities.

Provide a framework for alternative cement organization to get involved;
Create the content and context for additional neutral engagement.

In 1999, under the auspices of the WBCSD(World Business Council for Sustainable Development), ten leading top cement companies commissioned the Battelle Memorial Institute to conduct a freelance analysis into how the cement business may meet these property challenges. Battelle's final report, toward a property Cement business, was discharged in Gregorian calendar month 2002.

The report lists eight major topics that are shaping the Indian cement industry's path toward an additional property future over the subsequent twenty years:
