Today's show talked about Valentine's Day and how RXVIP Cares is building relationships within the pharmacy profession to advance patient care with our innovative VIRTUAL PHARMACY.  We are actively speaking with Pharmacists, PharmDs, Student of Pharmacy and other members in our profession to align their products and services in our approach to providing concierge healthcare.
We have partnered with CareONE DVCP to deliver a new, standardized clinical approach for all members of Medicare Advantage Plans by incorporating PharmD support right in physician offices.

Dunn School of Pharmacy for an engaging conversation on eliminating health disparities, specifically within minority communities.
Dr. Bailey began his professional career working in the real estate market post-hurricane Katrina. This provided him with the opportunity to see disparities that exist within the New Orleans community at many different levels including housing, socioeconomic, and health disparities associated with a lack of access to care and poor living conditions. He made the decision to complete his graduate degree at Xavier University of Louisiana where he earned a Doctorate in Pharmacy where they placed a great deal of focus on this topic. Post-graduation, he completed a residency program in clinical ambulatory care pharmacy at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA where he was provided the opportunity to simultaneously earn a teaching certification through the university. He was then employed for 2 years at Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice prior to accepting a similar position at Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy.
As a member of the queer community and having many personal friends who identify as transgender, Dr. Bailey had the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the health disparities that exist within the transgender community related to their receipt of appropriate and empathetic healthcare. This was the catalyst that inspired him to develop curricular material and research to address the need for improving pharmacy students' knowledge when providing transgender healthcare, comfort with providing appropriate care within the transgender community, empathy towards transgender individuals, and confidence in educating other healthcare professionals on providing appropriate healthcare to transgender individuals. The work he does improves the care for all transgender people.
