My Sally is five years old. She has long blonde hair and big bluish- hazel eyes. She adores her hamsters and bunnies. She looks like a little angel, and, she has the disposition of one, too.
I recently left my hometown in Arizona, and, my ex-boyfriend is stalking me. I felt I had no choice but to run away with the two girls. Recently, we had a horrible argument. He actually threatened to kill me, cut my body into little pieces, boil the meat, and then feed it to the dogs. “Then there would be no evidence,” he said.
That was the last straw. I had to leave. Right now we are in a hotel room in Vegas, room number 333. It’s the best I can do right now for my daughters and me. At least we are safe and I am trying to build a new life for myself after years of abuse again. Honestly, the relationship soured me on the possibility of a real, lifelong love.
I am startled awake very early the next morning. I see a shadowy presence looking over me from the foot of my bed. The alarm clock reads 2:00 am. Maybe I was just dreaming. I pinch myself.
