For those of us new to the club, or new to the GAA in general, this episode tells you what we are all about. Club legend Gearalt O'Mianain tells us how following Eamon's sad passing in January 2007 members of the club got together to think how best to honour his legacy.

For those that have listened to our earlier editions you will have heard how many of our current players have come right the way through from underage level through to senior level. That shows the foundations on which our club is built and why it is so fitting to name the under 6 group Campa Éamoin in his honour.

Gearalt notes how important it is for us all to remember all the figures who have made such a huge contribution building Na Magha over the past 35 years. To take pride in ourselves, our club and our city.

Some of those figures who have passed on will certainly be at the forefront of many people's minds this Sunday as we hope to claim the Ulster title. This is the club they built and their contribution will always be remembered.

We speak about an evening on 23 November 2017 to play a few tunes to remember those characters and share a good yarn. Our club is not just about hurling and camogie, it's about spending quality time with quality people. So why not come along and enjoy that night.

If you listen to this, you might gather that Gearalt has a lot to say... so like Arnie, he'll be back.

Gearalt articulates what our club means to so many people. The kids that are part of the Campa Éamoin group now will be our hurlers and camogs of the future.
