23 AUG 2018 · Learn and understand how to alter your old ways of thinking to see opportunities in self employment. Unemployment is not only exacerbating crime and has become a challenge to the country and our youth. It has turned our communities into slaves of government dependency syndrome. With the advent of technology and the increasing demand to replace manual labour with machines. Blacks in South Africa need to think for themselves and begin to take responsibility for their own personal development. In this podcast, I am attempting to relay alternative ways to find self employment opportunities for people who want to get out of the rut. In the early 70’s and 80’s challenges for black people were more difficult than it is today in 2018. In the past our challenges were to fight and conquer Apartheid, whereas today South Africa is fight the worst monster than Apartheid i.e. corruption and nepotism in both the private sector and all government institutions. It imperative that we learn to think and do things for ourselves without compromising our personal religious values to white people on any other race for that matter. We need to look outside our borders if must break the chains of poverty and despair in order become the best products of our own talents and business ventures. Imagine channeling all your negative emotions into writing poetry or starting a new book? You can just about do anything with a negative emotions only if you can channel it property, so that it can work for you instead of against you. It really doesn't matter if your hobby is running, boxing, painting, writing, blogging, singing and speaking, you can turn that into a professional career. This can earn you money on a part-time or full-time basis. While the country is going through political turmoil and drastic change, it is high time that citizens engage themselves in a positive way to utilize their talents. By turning talents into a business or career can make a huge difference in the life of proactive people. A majority of South African citizens have talent that is under utilized and slowly decaying because of laziness and complacency amongst the African folks. Until we can begin to tap into this creative unlimited force of life, few if any will be unable to reach their full potential.
