7 NOV 2018 · Heather Thomas Van Deren has loved music since she was a little girl. She took her first piano lesson at 7 years of age, and would sing & play for anyone who would listen. From music recitals to talent contests, Heather loved, loved, loved all things music! Although she was saved in her teens, it wasn’t until she was a young mother that God began calling her to step forward and sing for Him. Heather was with the popular ladies’ trio “Hearts to Him” for 10 years, and with the group “Rejoice” for 8 years prior. She was also active in Prison & Jail Ministry for many years. Now having almost 10 years behind her as a soloist, Heather is pursuing her songwriting, singing & speaking talents in new & exciting ventures. Her first solo CD titled “My Heart Alone” was released in 2009. Her 2nd project titled “My Heart, His Love” released in 2014. Her latest album, “Just in Time” (an all original project with several songs Heather has written – mostly Country Christian) is available now, as well. Heather has appeared on several TV programs, & her music is aired on radio stations across the world. 31 OCT 2018 · Andrew Abbott is a Christian Recording Artist based out of London, Ontario, Canada. Andrew grew up in a Christian family. As a young boy, he regularly attended church with his parents and eleven siblings. At the age of thirteen, he accepted Jesus into his life. “When I accepted Jesus as my saviour, I had no idea what my life would look like moving forward. I most definitely did not expect the spiritual battle that would ensue over the next few years.” Throughout Andrew’s teen years, he struggled with a pornography addiction, but God used song writing and scripture to grab hold of his heart. Since releasing his debut acoustic album in November 2012, he has travelled across Ontario playing concerts and leading worship for thousands of people. During a busy tour schedule in 2013, Andrew's song “This Is Grace” landed a nomination for Folk Song of the Year at the GMA Covenant Awards, which is one of the highest recognitions in Christian music in Canada. With a GMA nomination under his belt, Andrew began receiving invitations to join some big name Christian artists. In fall of 2013, he was invited to open for JUNO Award winning artist and former lead singer of the band Starfield Tim Neufeld on his hit tour “Trees.” Tim had this to say about Andrew: “Andrew Abbott is the kind of humble, ministry focused, up-and-coming young artist that renews my faith in the future of Christian music ... see him locally while you can. There are big things in store for this gifted man of God.” The following spring, Andrew received another invitation to share a stage with Grammy award winning artists Lecrae and Toby Mac at the Wonder Jam festival in Toronto, Ontario. Only a month later, Andrew opened a concert for four-time JUNO award nominees New World Son. Andrew continues to receive nominations for GMA Covenant Awards, and invitations to open for Christian artists in Canada and the United States. Andrew is not only known for his singing and song writing, but has also been recognized for his speaking. In 2008 (at age 17), he took first place at Word of Life’s Evangelistic Preaching Competition. Since then, he has travelled the country, speaking and inspiring youth on the grace of God and the importance of living a life set apart for Him. “I love openly talking about my struggle with porn in high school. It allows me to convincingly share the love of Jesus with those who are living in sin. Jesus did not just die on a cross and rise, but every sin of every person was placed on Him. When young people realize that God saved them from something very specific, it changes their lives."
