This question is brought to you by onlinefitnessthatworks.com.
A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.
What issues do you see about being fat?
This is a great question and is going to be more opinion based but I will throw in some information on what we know from the books.
Let's say you are fat, overweight maybe even obese, you will have or at some point you probably will have some medical conditions.
Must likely type II diabetes, joint issues, shortness of breath, high cholesterol, higher chance of a stroke, heart attack and the list goes on.
Being fat also has psychological side which plays a huge role.
I don't think that anybody wakes up and says I want to be fat.
So what leads a person into becoming fat, overweight, obese, that's a good question and it should be different for every single person.
Being fat from a psychological side is almost the same as someone goes to the gym every day.
There is probably a reason why you do and it could be you because I want look more attractive.
Being more attractive is just one reason but maybe that person doesn't feel attractive to begin with, so that is what they're going to the gym every day and spending countless hours working out.
Back to being fat, maybe when you were younger you were overweight and everybody said that you are fat and overtime you started to believe it and thought that there was nothing you could do so you just accepted the fact that you are fat.
So, is it acceptable to be overweight, fat or obese, my answer is no and you shouldn’t accept it either.
You should want to be the best that you can be and being overweight, fat or obese won’t get you ahead of the game.
I don’t fault you for being fat as we all have issues but everyone needs to realize these issues and correct them so we can all better ourselves.
If you want to lose weight and are struggling, I suggest that you create a simple plan that you can follow and get started.
Create some short and long term goals, for example, I want to work out 4 times a week for 30 minutes and lose 20 pounds over 1 year.
For those who read this, I hope I helped you out and if you need any help, please ask.

A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.
What type of exercises should I be doing as a beginner who is weak?
To answer this question, if you are a beginner you need to start with the basics.
The basic exercises are the squat, lunge, push-up, pull up, shoulder press, plus others and you will need to be able to perform these with proper form.
If you haven’t performed these exercises before, you will be weak because your body is not used to performing particular movements and it takes time to teach your body what’s supposed to do.
For example, if I've never performed a push-up before and someone told me to do 10 push-ups, at first the form is probably going to be terrible and I may not be able to perform 10 as I might only be able to perform one.
If this is the case, don't worry about being weak, just set that aside and start to learn the basic exercises and allow your body to adjust.
Over a short period of time you will be able to perform more repetitions because your body now knows how to perform the exercise.
Remember to always start out with body weight exercises, get the form down and then you can add weight.
Now lets say you can perform a weighted squat and shoulder press, you can then combine the two exercises to make it more challenging and you will also save time.
Just remember to start slow and you will become stronger over time.

Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.
What exercises are good for someone who wants to lose weight and is 65 years old?
This is a great question for somebody that is 65 years old to be answering, not a 33-year-old but I can give you my recommendations on what I feel a 65-year-old should be doing.
First, you should always look at what types of food you are consuming.
If your consuming a lot of junk food, or a lot of processed food, I would initially want to make a switch to more natural and healthier foods, so that is my first recommendation.
My second recommendation for a strength or flexibility program would be first performing some type of a flexibility program between 2 to 3 times a week and yoga is great for flexibility.
I'm sure there are plenty of on yoga programs for older adults online that you could find and use, just make sure they fit your starting point.
The second part of my recommendation is to add in some type of the strength training but this will be pretty simple.
All we really want to do at first is some type of body weight exercises which I would start with performing and perfecting the squat and lunge.
These exercises will be very beneficial because as you get older you going to have a higher risk of injury or falling and these will help you get up off of the floor in case of an accident.
Those would be the first exercises that I'd want to use or perform and then you can add some lightweights or resistance bands.
Other exercises that you could perform is a row, a chest press, a shoulder press, a push-up or other basic exercises.
The examples that I gave are more for a beginners or someone that has not exercised in many years and If you 65 years old and already in great shape, your focus point should be on losing weight through proper nutrition.

A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day. What is the first step to losing weight?
If your goal is weight loss I personally recommend that you find your RMR
which stands for resting metabolic rate once you find your RMR can give
you an estimation of how many calories your body is burning throughout
the day.
So to keep it simple were
getting use 2000 calories, if you are burning essentially 2000 calories a
day and you started your food journal which is my second recommendation
and you notice on average that you are consuming 4000 calories a day,
you can see that there is a 2000 calorie difference and over time was
can happen is you can start to gain weight and generally that will be in
the form of fat.
So my first step
is to find you’re RMR, my second step is to start a food journal and my
third step is to start an exercise program based on something that will
help you get through your day a little bit easier.
Or
if you wanted to take that to another step on create a goal and try to
create a program or get a program created for you that will help you
achieve your goal that you have so without going into a lot more detail
just remember those first couple steps that I gave you if you start to
follow those you will notice a change immediately.

A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.Should I perform heavy weight with less reps or lighter weight with more reps?
The answer to your question really depends on what your goal is.
If you're trying to get stronger then I recommend performing heavier weight with less reps and if your goal is to build more muscular endurance, than I suggest that you use a lighter weight with less reps.
Now let's take a step back and look at what a heavier weight and less reps really means.
So a heavier weight could generally be between 80 and 100 percent of your one rep max and if you are lifting on that much weight you're going to be performing really anywhere between one and six repetitions.
The repetitions will vary depending on the amount of weight that you are lifting so if you are lifting 90% of your one rep max, you obviously won't be able to perform six repetitions.
If you are able to get six reps at your 90% max, you need to take a step back and retest your one rep max because somewhere you on messed up your one rep max or you have just become that much stronger over time.
So you need to go ahead and retest so you can continue to progress.
If you're looking at building muscular endurance your rep range may vary between 15 to 25 repetitions at 50 to 60% of your one rep max.
This just depends on your goal.
If you’re training muscular endurance for a certain sport than that rep range may vary.
Now back to the question, it really just depends on your goal and what you're looking to accomplish.

This question is brought to you by onlinefitnessthatworks.com.
A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.Can a vegetarian build muscle without taking supplements?
Of course, a vegetarian can build muscle without taking supplements as long as they are eating a full balanced diet.
Basically
what I'm saying is, if you are consuming enough calories to put your
body in a state that will allow you to build muscle and you are
consuming enough protein in order for your body to build muscle and you
are adding some type of resistance training you will be able to build muscle.
If you are not working out and you are a vegetarian, and this is your question, I recommend you first start to add a resistance training program to your daily schedule.
So let's just say that you're already working out and you are a vegetarian.
You
need to look at how many calories you're consuming a day, I believe,
depending on the person you really need to consume around an extra 300
calories a day in order to get your body in that muscle building state.
In order to add some more muscle, you will also need to consume enough protein.
For example, if you are a 150 pound male and you can consume around 100 grams of protein
a day that should be significant enough in order for you to create that
environment for you to build muscle and don't worry if you're not
hitting your levels as these amounts can average out on a weekly basis.
The
thing that we don't want to see is a low-calorie diet vegetarian diet
because you won't be putting your body in an environment to build
muscle.
So as long as your goals are
nothing crazy for example I want to have 24 inch biceps, you can build
muscle, look great and perform at high levels.
If
your goal is to weigh 250 pounds and have 24 inch biceps, being a
vegetarian and without taking drugs, you may fall short of your goal but
who am I to tell you that you can't.

Maybe you just want to know what a good answer is.
Your goal is really where motivation comes from and you must have a goal and if don't, you will not go to the gym or workout.
If your goal is "I want to get my arms a little bit bigger", listen girls really don't care about your arms, it's pretty much just other guys and if that is your goal, it's probably not enough motivation to keep working out.
So what I have said before and I'll say it again, you need to create a goal and have something that's challenging and that will push you and motivate you to go to the gym every day or pretty close to it.
Then you will crate a program based on that specific goal that you're working toward.
Let's say for example you want to climb up Pike's Peak's, there is a trail (Barr Trail) that will take you up to Pike's Peak and I believe it takes the average person about eight hours to make it up to the top.
Then I guess if you're really crazy you go back down the same day and you hope you don't get stuck in bad weather.
Now if that is your goal and you are currently out of shape, you would need to create a program that will get you up the mountain in the fastest time possible.
But if if you are a beginner you will need to take the right steps or the have the right program in order for you to climb the mountain within a good amount of time not, that's probably a pretty big goal for for some.
Or maybe your goal is to compete in a bodybuilding competition and unless you want to place last or look the worst out of the whole show, you will have to work your butt off for an extended period of time but this all depends on your starting point.
This could be six months or two years, whatever it is, it's a good goal for somebody to have and it could provide you with enough motivation to get into the gym and watch your diet.
So what really comes down to is your goal and that your goal is challenging and you work your butt off to achieve it.
If you have any fitness related questions, please send me an email at casey@thebestoffitness.com if you know anyone that could benefit from this podcast, please share this with them.
For more fitness related questions, please visit thebestoffitness.com.

<itunes:author>Casey Miller</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>Your fitness questions answered.

This question is brought to you by onlinefitnessthatworks.com.
A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.How can I stay motivated to go to the gym every day?
Well, if you are asking this question maybe you lack some motivation and you need some help right or maybe not.

This question is brought to you by Online Fitness That Works.
A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day. What are the best exercises to reduce my waist and thighs?
This is a really great question and I have a feeling that people just think there is a magical exercise to reduce your waste and thighs.
Now I understand that it is a problem area for most women, or at least they think it is, but you cannot just do a couple exercises and think that your waist and thighs will get smaller.
With that said, if I had to only pick a couple exercises for each area, I would prefer more full-body exercises that will do a little for both areas and they will maximize your time and effort.
The first exercise that I would pick to reduce your waist would be a kettlebell full get-up.
If you are a beginner, this exercise is pretty complicated as there are a lot of different movements going on.
So what I would first have you do is the full get-up on without using any weight and once you give that exercise a try, I would actually take that exercise back a step and break it down into multiple steps.
You will then learn each little piece and build up to the kettlebell full get-up.
First start by performing a half get-up and then move into a bridge.
Second move into a overhead lunge and then start to piece all those exercises together.
Then you would eventually add weight once you have all the steps down.
That will be my first exercise that would really help on with your waist.
So if you only had one exercise to choose that is my favorite.
My next favorite exercise do which is more for the waist would be using the TRX. You can do a couple different exercises, all within the same exercise.
You can start with a suspended crunch and then you can move into a pike which would be a little bit more advanced.
There are a couple different steps that you can do to make this exercise a little bit easier and I will break those down for you in this blog post.
So if you're listening to this right now, you can hop over to the blog post or go to thebestfitness.com and you can check out all the exercises and how to perform them.
Now, if you want to reduce the size of your thighs you will have to reduce the amount of calories you consume (same as your waist) but that's a whole different question, so for now, if I had to pick two exercises that will help build muscle, I would choose the squat and the lunge.
These exercises are not anything magical and you have seen them thousands of times before but they are the base of any exercise program and activities for your daily life.
The squat itself is actually pretty complex and this is where most people mess up as they really don't know how to squat properly.
So what I will also do on the blog post is give you an example of how to perform the squat properly and you can give it a try.
The lunge is pretty simple as you are just widening your stance and placing your legs in a split stance position.
So with everything said, those are going to be my favorite exercises which won't necessarily reduce your waist and thighs but will tone those areas and even build some strength and muscle which is really what you're probably after.
If you're really looking to reduce those areas and there's no promise that you will but you will have to work on your nutrition and I have plenty of other information on reducing your calories and losing body fat all throughout the website, so just go ahead and check those out.

This question is brought to you by onlinefitnessthatworks.com.
A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.Can I lose weight quickly without exercise?
Yes, yes you can.
You can lose weight quickly without exercising, but it's probably not the type of weight that you want to lose.
For example, I cannot drink water for three days and I will lose weight and since my body fat is lower, I will actually look better but I won’t be able to perform to my best ability because I will be dehydrated.
So, it really depends on why you want to lose the weight and I do not recommend any quick scheme to lose weight.
You could not eat and drink and for three days and you will lose weight but you're not going to be able to sustain that for very long and once you start drinking water and eating again, you will gain all that weight right back.
So really if your idea or goal is to lose weight, I would rather have you look up your RMR online.
Just type in your information and this can give you a number of how many calories your body burns on throughout the day.
Now this is just an estimation but if it shows you are burning 2000 calories a day and you are writing down all the food you been eating for the past seven days you may have noticed you consumed 3000 calories every day, which if you continue that over time you are going to gain weight and that is not what you want to be doing.
So ultimately, you have to cut your calories back and eat healthier foods.
If you want some more information on different types of programs that you can be using, go over to my website thebestoffitness.com and check those out and you should have good starting point from there.

This question is brought to you by online fitness that works.
A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.Do I have to be on a diet to get into shape?
Of course you have to be on a diet to get into shape.
Are you kidding me what kind of question is that?
Now seriously though, it all really depends on your goal, so if you are looking to lose body fat
then yes, yes you have to be on some type of diet or reduce your
calories, which is typically what diet is and depending on whatever
you're eating already.
Let's say you're eating fast food three times a day.
I
know some people are and it sounds ridiculous but if you are, you need
to change the types of food that you're eating and just by doing that
you are can reduce your calories which you will lose some body fat
hopefully over time.
Now, back to the question what are you looking at, or what is your definition of being in shape?
So
yes you can go to the gym still eat like crap and work out all the time
and you will be healthier, you will be in better shape, but that may
not fit what your goal is.
So overall was go back and look at your goal, and that's really answer your question, depending on what your goal is.
So
to keep it short because I don't have you know more details of what
this question is I would say yes, yes you have to be on a diet to get
into shape but like I said it really depends on your goal.

This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day.Is there a certain amount of reps to make your muscles grow?
Of course there is a certain amount of reps to make your muscles grow, well at least that's what it says in the books.
Anyways, if we go back to a book answer, in order to make your muscles grow it says you should be performing around 6 to 12 repetitions.
I believe it's 3 to 6 sets with 30 to 60 second rest breaks at 60 to 70% of your max weight.
If
you take a look at the other weight and rep ranges which they are 12
plus repetitions at 50-60% of your max weight, you will develop more
muscle endurance.
If you are using a heavier weight, 80% plus at 3-6 repetitions, you will build more strength.
Even though the textbook my say to perform 6-12 repetitions to build muscle,
I would prefer you do a lot of trial and error because everyone
responds a little different and that is really the only way to find out
how your body responds to weight lifting.
I
know the repetition and percentages are not exact but every textbook is
a little different so I just provided you a little larger range.

This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day. What are the best ways to stay active while traveling on business?
The best way to stay active while traveling on business is to be prepared.
Now, I know if you are traveling on business, you probably have a hectic schedule and might be going to a different time zone.
Your daily schedule can be out of whack and all messed up and that's fine as long as you are prepared.
If you have your workout plan either on your tablet, phone or written down on a sheet of paper, it doesn’t matter, just have access to it when you need it.
You
can do your workout on a lunch break, in the morning or before you go
to bed just make sure your workout is not too long and it fits your
schedule.
I know working out while
traveling is more difficult than being at home with a normal schedule
but it doesn’t have to be hard to find time, only if it’s 10 minutes.
I
also find having a goal set in place will provide more motivation for
you to work out, so maybe it’s time to start writing down some awesome fitness related goals to complete.

This question is brought to you by onlinefitnessthatworks.com.
A smart, simple, effective online program that helps you transform your body.
Make sure you go check it out if you need some extra motivation to achieve your goals.
This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day. What is the best way to develop willpower?
To
me the best way to develop willpower is to create a goal and it has to
be a goal that is so powerful that you will do whatever it takes to
complete it.
Since this is fitness
related, let's say you are older, maybe in your 20s or 30s and you are
done participating in high school or college sports your willpower is
probably low and you might lack motivation.
As
you might remember, your whole life revolved around your sport and you
would wake up early to workout, go to practice and then come home for a
final workout.
Now that it’s over,
you may have gained 20 pounds and you want to get back into shape but
just saying you want to get into shape and lose weight doesn’t make for a
great goal and you will probably quit pretty quickly.
So for me, one way to achieve your goal is to find some type of competition that you want to participate in, maybe that is a half marathon or a 10 mile bike ride,
whatever it is you need to sign up that competition, pay the hundred
dollar fee that goes along with it and put it on the calendar.
Now,
that I have the date set and unless I want to look like a fool on
competition day, I have to get my butt in gear and go ahead and make
some changes in order to be my best at this competition.
Remember,
this is just one way that you can develop willpower, by setting a goal
and doing whatever it takes to compete in the competition and do your
best.
You may have some better ways and if you do please send me an email at casey@thebestfitness.com.
I hope you enjoyed listening to this podcast/question and if you have any fitness related questions, please send me an email at casey@thebestoffitness.com.

This is Casey Miller and here is your fitness question of the day. What do you consider is a better way to stay fit, playing basketball or going to the gym?
To answer this question, I really think it depends on your goal.
Is your goal to get better at basketball or is your goal to build a better body, lose body fat or build strength and power.
Now I'm not saying that you can't play basketball to stay fit.
Because playing basketball is a great workout, you have endurance and power.
But what you're really missing out on is increasing your strength and building muscle.
If you really enjoy playing basketball and you want to gain strength and build power, those are a great place to start.
Building
power will help your basketball performance and I would perform those
power workout before you play basketball so you can put all your energy
and really maximize on that power workout.
I would start with power workouts in the morning and then play basketball at night.
These
power workouts are called plyometrics and you should be able to improve
your vertical in as little as three sessions of 10-30 minutes.
You might be able to increase your vertical by 3 inches from just learning how to jump properly but over time you will plateau.
So back to the question, which is a better way to stay fit really just depends on your goal.
But if you can create some great workouts that will help you with your basketball game, you can get a win-win in both.

This is Casey Miller from thebestoffitness.com and here is the question of the day.Are Fitbits any good for losing weight and building muscle?
My
opinion on Fitbits are, they are a good tool to tell time since it’s a
watch but it does count steps and measure your heart rate.
Now,
I know these are not exactly correct, but if you take that out of the
equation, they do tell you how many steps you’re talking which is good
for weight loss.
They will be best for weight loss because you won’t be able to measure how much muscle you built by wearing a watch.
Just
remember that Fitbits may not be accurate, but you can see how many
steps you took each day and you can work on improving so hopefully you
will start to lose weight.
Now with that said, you will need to change the way you eat.
If you are eating poorly, I recommend finding your RMR, resting metabolic rate.
This
is an example of how many calories your body burns throughout the day
just being alive. For example, if RMR is 1500 calories and you are
consuming 2500 calories every day you will gain weight.
You may be putting on at least 1 pound of fat, so you will need to cut back on your calories to help you lose weight.
Also, don’t forget to start eating healthier!

This is Casey Miller from thebestoffitness.com and here is the question of the day.Are squats better for gaining muscle or losing fat?
Squats are a great all-around exercise.
It
doesn't matter if your goal is to lose fat or build muscle, you should
always be performing squats as they mimic our everyday life.
So your first thing you should do is make sure that you can perform the squat correctly.
If you would like more information on performing squats correctly stop by the website and you will find more information.
To find the answer you must first know what your goal is; to gain muscle or lose fat.
For
example, if you were just doing bodyweight squats, you may not be able
to build as much muscle as if you would lifting weights.
Generally
one will use little to no weight and perform multiple repetitions for
endurance training and others will lift around 60-70% of their max to
build muscle.
If your main goal is to burn fat,
I would focus on changing your diet to less processed foods, more
fruits and vegetables while lifting heavier weights to build muscle.
But this really depends on your goal and what equipment you have available.
I hope I answered your question and if you have any fitness related questions please email casey@thebestoffitness.com.
If you know anyone who can benefit from this fitness podcast or my website please send them my way.

This is Casey Miller from thebestoffitness.com and here is the question of the day.Can I build a muscular body only using body weight exercises?
The answer is, of course you can.
This all depends on your starting point.
If you are at an elite athlete already, body weight exercises will not be the best for building a muscular body.
Yes, you can become a little stronger and help improve your endurance but you will not build a great muscular body.
Lets focus as if you are a beginner and which exercises are perfect to start with.
You will not only build a muscular body, but you can build endurance and power.
You
will want to learn how to perform the squat as it’s a very complex and
challenging exercise but once you perfect it, you will be able to add
weight if you would like to further your muscle building.
Also,
let's say you weigh 250 pounds and you're roughly 100 pounds
overweight, which might be kind of movement exaggeration, but you might
be, you are still moving 250 pounds compared to somebody that weighs 125
pounds.
So the bigger you are the more muscle you will build compared to someone who is lighter.
That’s why bodyweight exercises are so challenging for someone who weighs more and is overweight.
For more information on bodyweight training
and exercises, I have a great blog post on the website
Thebestoffitness.com that has 20 plus body weight exercises and workout
videos that you can watch.

Sorry to tell you but you may have to lose a little bit of weight but that’s not a bad thing.
Generally
what happens, is we end up with some fat deposits in places that we
don't usually like and in order to get lean enough to see your abs and
definition in your muscles, you’re going to have to lose some weight.
So yes you will lose a little bit weight.
How Can I Lose Weight?
First,
I would like you to find out your RMR, resting metabolic rate and it
suggest a number of calories your body burns throughout the day during a
normal activity.
You can find more information on your RMR on this blog post.
Time to Strength Train
I want you to use some basic ab exercises and these exercises are not going to be directly working with the core.
What I may have you be doing is kettlebell get-ups and half get-ups.
You could even move into your overhead shoulder presses which will work your abs indirectly.
These exercises strengthening your whole body and not just your core.
I
usually like to work on full body exercises more than a direct muscle
group just because there are more efficient and they will really help
you achieve your goal.
I hope I answered your question and if you have any fitness related questions please email casey@thebestoffitness.com.
If you know anyone who can benefit from this podcast or my website please send them my way.
I would love to help more people achieve their fitness goal.

You are probably going through some hormonal issues which I don't actually know too much about.
I have not read much research on this, but the first thing that I would do is find your RMR or resting metabolic rate.
This is a number of how many calories your body burns throughout the day just be alive and living your normal life.
Example, you burn 2000 calories a day and using our generic standard formula, you burn 500 extra calories a day to lose 1 pound a week which would be 3500 calorie total deficit.
After keeping a food journal you notice you are eating 2500 calories a day, you will have to eat 500 calories less to lose 1 pound per week.
How Can You Do This?
I would want you to start eating healthier food and less processed food. Eat more fruits and vegetables and even stay away from a lot of meat.
If you’re currently eating a lot of meat start to cutback and switchover to chicken and fish.
Also, I want you to start strength training.
As you get older, especially females, you may lose some bone mass density and strength training will actually increase your bone strength which will be very important for the rest of your life so you don’t fall and break a hip.
As you get older the two things that I want you to focus on for losing weight is to find your RMR and start strength training.
I hope I answered your question and if you have any fitness related questions please email casey@thebestoffitness.com.

I would love to help more people achieve their fitness goal.

Can I see some body transformation without supplements?
The answer awaits you!
Can I see some body transformation without supplements?
• The answer is YES and it takes hard WORK!
• Supplements are just that a supplement.
Can I see some body transformation without supplements?
• The only time you would ever need to take a supplement is when you are deficient in that particular area. I know you have probably seen 1000’s of magazines trying to sell you supplements telling you need to take this and that but that’s not the truth. Although, they do a pretty good job at it right?
Can I see some body transformation without supplements?
• Since, I already answered the question to yes you can see a body transformation without supplements, lets take a look at when you might actually need to include them into your daily diet.
Lack Protein
Supplements might be necessary if you:
Lack Carbohydrates
Supplements might be necessary if you:
Lack Vitamin D
Supplements might be necessary if you:
Lack Sleep
Supplements might be necessary if you:
Lack Fish Oils (EPA and DHA)
Supplements might be necessary if you:
Now that you have seen my top five supplements that you might need to take (as of today), I will now discuss when and why you might need to take these.
Lack of Protein
You may need to consume a protein supplement is you’re a vegetarian athlete. The reason being, you might not be able to consume enough calories and protein from your vegetarian diet. If this is the case, you might find yourself consuming a one or two scopes of a vegan protein powder daily.
Lack of Carbohydrates
You may need to consume a carbohydrate supplement if you’re a marathon runner and are unable to consume enough carbohydrates to maintain energy for your race or training. Consuming additional carbohydrates before a race is common practice called carb loading.
Lack of Vitamin D
You many need to take a vitamin D supplement in the winter if you’re unable to get outside in the sun. This is common with older people because they lack the mobility to enjoy the outdoors and the sunshine. The sun and foods we eat are the main sources of vitamin D. These foods include fish oils and egg yolks.
Lack of Sleep
You may need to consume some type of an energy supplement to push you along throughout the day if you’re lacking sleep or motivation. Coffee, caffeine and teas are all sources of “energy” that we have all taken some point in our lives but do we really need them? NO. Do we take them because we have a lack of sleep? NO. I think it’s more of a lack of motivation but I discuss my thoughts on this a different day.
Lack of Fish Oils (EPA and DHA)
Fish oils are great for our heart and blood vessels and we as a society don’t consume enough of them and that is why most people supplement with fish oils. Do you have to supplement, no, you just need to consume enough fish products that contain EPA and DHA. Also, by consuming fish, you will increase your protein intake which in return, you could stop taking your protein supplement.
There you have my top five supplements (as of today) that you might need to take. Just remember, you don’t need to take supplements to see a body transformation, just lots of time and hard work.

Hard Work!

I’m sorry to tell you that there is no easy way to burn fat!

But what I will tell you is, if you really want to burn fat
you will have to work for it and it won’t be easy.

I do have some simple steps that you can follow in order to
burn fat the fastest way possible, all you have to do is follow these steps and
work your butt off.

The Easiest Fat Burning Formula:

Step 1: Find your RMR

Step 2: Find your Body Type

Step 3: Learn about Nutrition

Step 4: Get a Workout Program

Step 5: Work Your Butt Off!

Now that you have all the steps you need to burn fat, I will
break down each step to make it a little easier for you.

Step 1: Find your RMR

-
Your RMR stands for your resting metabolic
rate. This really is just an estimation
of how many calories your body burns doing little activity and being
alive. You can find a calculator online
and make sure to stay around that number.

Step 2: Find your
Body Type

-
There are three different body types; Ectomorph,
Mesomorph and Endomorph. An Ectomorph is
someone who is naturally thin looking. A
Mesomorph is someone who is naturally athletic looking and an Endomorph is
naturally thick looking. Each body type
performs better and acts differently to food.
So in order to eat properly for your body type, you must spend some time
and look into this.

Step 3: Learn about
Nutrition

-
The fastest way to burn fat is to eat the right
foods. Start by getting rid of processed
foods and choose natural whole foods.
Don’t be afraid to try new things and get creative but remember you have
to stay around your RMR.

Step 4: Get a Workout
Program

-
You have to get a workout program that fits your
goals. Don’t worry about working out to
burn fat, instead workout to have fun.
Find exercises that you enjoy and help you make your day or sports
easier.

Step 5: Work Your Butt Off!

-
In order to achieve your fat burning goals, you
are going to have to work your butt off.
It won’t be easy and you may have to get up or stay up an hour later
everyday but who cares. If you really
want to burn fat and look better then get off your butt and do it. Don’t make excuses to why you can’t. Start to think positive and stick with
it. Burning fat takes time, so be
patient and it will happen.

Remember, everything takes time and it’s not easy. So get off your butt and do something about
it. Start being the person you know you
can be and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. </googleplay:description><googleplay:image href="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/t_rss_itunes_square_1400/images.spreaker.com/original/35c4733d251e3aff2e0cee7abf812814.jpg"/><googleplay:explicit>No</googleplay:explicit>
