He said to them, 'You are spies; you have come to see the nakedness of the land!’ 10They said to him, 'No, my lord; your servants have come to buy food. 11We are all sons of one man; we are honest men; your servants have never been spies.’ 12But he said to them, 'No, you have come to see the nakedness of the land!’ 13They said, 'We, your servants, are twelve brothers, the sons of a certain man in the land of Canaan; the youngest, however, is now with our father, and one is no more.’ 14But Joseph said to them, 'It is just as I have said to you; you are spies! 15Here is how you shall be tested: as Pharaoh lives, you shall not leave this place unless your youngest brother comes here! 16Let one of you go and bring your brother, while the rest of you remain in prison, in order that your words may be tested, whether there is truth in you; or else, as Pharaoh lives, surely you are spies.’ 17And he put them all together in prison for three days.
The Word of the Lord.</itunes:summary><itunes:duration>1144</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords>anglican,jesuschrist,morningprayer,prayers,sacredheartjesus</itunes:keywords><itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit><itunes:image href="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/t_rss_itunes_square_1400/images.spreaker.com/original/5340267979ef5bdeda32f35c35ad6955.jpg"/><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType>

Evening Prayer

Mark 3:19-35
19and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
Then he went home; 20and the crowd came together again, so that they could not even eat. 21When his family heard it, they went out to restrain him, for people were saying, 'He has gone out of his mind.’ 22And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, 'He has Beelzebul, and by the ruler of the demons he casts out demons.’ 23And he called them to him, and spoke to them in parables, 'How can Satan cast out Satan? 24If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. 26And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but his end has come. 27But no one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his property without first tying up the strong man; then indeed the house can be plundered.
28 'Truly I tell you, people will be forgiven for their sins and whatever blasphemies they utter; 29but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit can never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin’— 30for they had said, 'He has an unclean spirit.’
31 Then his mother and his brothers came; and standing outside, they sent to him and called him. 32A crowd was sitting around him; and they said to him, 'Your mother and your brothers and sisters* are outside, asking for you.’ 33And he replied, 'Who are my mother and my brothers?’ 34And looking at those who sat around him, he said, 'Here are my mother and my brothers! 35Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.’
The Word of the Lord.

<itunes:author>Sacred Heart of Jesus Radio</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>Mark 3:19-35

“In praying, do not babble like the pagans,
who think that they will be heard because of their many words.

Prayer

Luke 9:28-43a

About eight days after Peter had acknowledged Jesus as the Christ of God, Jesus took with him Peter and John and James, and went up on the mountain to pray. And while he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became dazzling white. Suddenly they saw two men, Moses and Elijah, talking to him. Bury your dead.’ 16Abraham agreed with Ephron; and Abraham weighed out for Ephron the silver that he had named in the hearing of the Hittites, four hundred shekels of silver, according to the weights current among the merchants.
17 So the field of Ephron in Machpelah, which was to the east of Mamre, the field with the cave that was in it and all the trees that were in the field, throughout its whole area, passed 18to Abraham as a possession in the presence of the Hittites, in the presence of all who went in at the gate of his city. 19After this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah facing Mamre (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan. 20The field and the cave that is in it passed from the Hittites into Abraham’s possession as a burying-place.
The Word of the Lord.</itunes:summary><itunes:duration>910</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords>holyspirit,methodist,morningprayer,prayer,sacredheartjesus</itunes:keywords><itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit><itunes:image href="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/t_rss_itunes_square_1400/images.spreaker.com/original/0586624b1947565665c3f28dbbc3a408.jpg"/><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType>

Evening Prayer

<itunes:author>Sacred Heart of Jesus Radio</itunes:author><itunes:duration>746</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords>eveningprayer,jesuschrist,lutheran,prayers,sacredheartdevotion</itunes:keywords><itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit><itunes:image href="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/t_rss_itunes_square_1400/images.spreaker.com/original/56578dae7a5578a40e891e2dda2bf7da.jpg"/><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType>

Morning Prayer

<itunes:author>Sacred Heart of Jesus Radio</itunes:author><itunes:duration>729</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords>jesuschrist,lutheran,morningprayer,prayers,sacredheartdevotion</itunes:keywords><itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit><itunes:image href="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/t_rss_itunes_square_1400/images.spreaker.com/original/a4ad1e72696c8b62e8da242b6bfa3bc1.jpg"/><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType>

Evening Prayer

1 John 3:1-8
1See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are.
