He cannot be the Messiah, can he?' 30They left the city and were on their way to him.
31 Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, 'Rabbi, eat something.' 32But he said to them, 'I have food to eat that you do not know about.' 33So the disciples said to one another, 'Surely no one has brought him something to eat?' 34Jesus said to them, 'My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to complete his work. 35Do you not say, "Four months more, then comes the harvest"? But I tell you, look around you, and see how the fields are ripe for harvesting. 36The reaper is already receiving wages and is gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. 37For here the saying holds true, "One sows and another reaps." 38I sent you to reap that for which you did not labour. Others have laboured, and you have entered into their labour.'
39 Many Samaritans from that city believed in him because of the woman's testimony, 'He told me everything I have ever done.' 40So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them; and he stayed there for two days. 41And many more believed because of his word. 42They said to the woman, 'It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is truly the Saviour of the world.'
The Word of the Lord.</itunes:summary><itunes:duration>874</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords>baptist,christ,eveningprayer,prayer,sacredheartjesus</itunes:keywords><itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit><itunes:image href="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/t_rss_itunes_square_1400/images.spreaker.com/original/5ed29a29dbdb62f629d8b82336422ed9.jpg"/><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType>

Afternoon Prayer

Psalm 42
1 As the deer longs for the water-brooks, *
so longs my soul for you, O God.
2 My soul is athirst for God, athirst for the living God; *
when shall I come to appear before the presence of God?
3 My tears have been my food day and night, *
while all day long they say to me,
"Where now is your God?"
4 I pour out my soul when I think on these things; *
how I went with the multitude and led them into the house of God,
5 With the voice of praise and thanksgiving, *
among those who keep holy-day.
6 Why are you so full of heaviness, O my soul? *
and why are you so disquieted within me?
7 Put your trust in God; *
for I will yet give thanks to him,
who is the help of my countenance, and my God.
8 My soul is heavy within me; *
therefore I will remember you from the land of Jordan,
and from the peak of Mizar among the heights of Hermon.
9 One deep calls to another in the noise of your cataracts; *
all your rapids and floods have gone over me.
10 The LORD grants his loving-kindness in the daytime; *
in the night season his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life.
11 I will say to the God of my strength,
"Why have you forgotten me? *
and why do I go so heavily while the enemy oppresses me?"
12 While my bones are being broken, *
my enemies mock me to my face;
13 All day long they mock me *
and say to me, "Where now is your God?"
14 Why are you so full of heaviness, O my soul? *
and why are you so disquieted within me?
15 Put your trust in God; *
for I will yet give thanks to him,
who is the help of my countenance, and my God.

<itunes:author>Sacred Heart of Jesus Radio</itunes:author><itunes:subtitle>Psalm 42

Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. 5Abram took his wife Sarai and his brother’s son Lot, and all the possessions that they had gathered, and the persons whom they had acquired in Haran; and they set forth to go to the land of Canaan. When they had come to the land of Canaan, 6Abram passed through the land to the place at Shechem, to the oak* of Moreh. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. 7Then the Lord appeared to Abram, and said, ‘To your offspring* I will give this land.’ So he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. 8From there he moved on to the hill country on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the Lord and invoked the name of the Lord.
The Word of the Lord.</itunes:summary><itunes:duration>935</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords>god,morningprayer,prayers,presbyterian,sacredheartdevotion</itunes:keywords><itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit><itunes:image href="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/t_rss_itunes_square_1400/images.spreaker.com/original/1828defdf01ac14936a473b9007de9b5.jpg"/><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType>

Morning Prayer

<itunes:author>Sacred Heart of Jesus Radio</itunes:author><itunes:duration>897</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords>holytrinity,methodist,morningprayer,prayer,sacredheartjesus</itunes:keywords><itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit><itunes:image href="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/t_rss_itunes_square_1400/images.spreaker.com/original/663c7cc24b31eee652d6863a5ec8b151.jpg"/><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType>

Evening Prayer

<itunes:author>Sacred Heart of Jesus Radio</itunes:author><itunes:duration>831</itunes:duration><itunes:keywords>eveningprayer,holyspirit,lutheran,prayers,sacredheartdevotion</itunes:keywords><itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit><itunes:image href="https://d3wo5wojvuv7l.cloudfront.net/t_rss_itunes_square_1400/images.spreaker.com/original/d4593853e3337617dcfea63ad798fa83.jpg"/><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType>

Morning Prayer

Genesis 9:18-29
The sons of Noah who went out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
