Dr. Rene’ Michelle Fenwick
A survivor who has truly transformed her pain into her purpose, Dr. Rene’ Michelle has been a powerful advocate against domestic violence and sexual assault since 2012. Her radiant smile and warm spirit make others feel seen, valued, and uplifted. It is this genuine compassion and heart of service that led to her selection as a Raw Beauty Ambassador, representing an organization that raises awareness for both domestic violence and breast cancer.
Dr. Rene’ Michelle’s dedication and influence have earned her numerous honors, including:
• Humanitarian Honorary Doctorate (2025)
• Metropolitan Phenomenal Woman of the Year
• Trailblazer of the Year Award
• First Fitness Community Activist Award
Her courage and powerful testimony reached the Maryland House of Delegates, where Dr. Rene’ Michelle shared her personal story to help advance three domestic violence bills that have since been passed.
One of her greatest honors was being invited to the White House by Vice President Joe Biden for the national “It’s On Us” campaign, an initiative dedicated to fighting sexual assault across the country.
Continuing to expand her impact, Dr. Rene’ Michelle stepped into acting, appearing in six films and starring in a sold-out stage play, using the arts as another platform to bring awareness and healing to communities.
Despite her full schedule, Dr. Rene’ Michelle remains deeply committed to service by:
• Teaching monthly parenting classes at the University of Maryland
• Volunteering at the Center for Abused Persons (CAP Center)
• Speaking to women at the Charles County Detention Center
• Providing hands-on support, housing assistance, and guidance to survivors in crisis
She is currently preparing for the release of her fourth book, scheduled for publication in April 2025, continuing her mission to uplift survivors and empower communities with truth, courage, and purpose.
