The man who trained there spent his childhood in Cultural Revolution China; hungry, separated from his family, and the first person from his village ever to go to college. He then healed himself from decades of chronic asthma and scoliosis through the very practice he witnessed at that hospital. And at age 60, he survived a fall that should have been catastrophic, because his body had become what he had been teaching: conscious intelligence, not obstacle.

Most people know they are stuck.
Almost none of them know that the part of their mind doing the destroying is the same part that has been trying to keep them alive. In this episode of The Conscious Man 7 Podcast, I sit down with Jehan Sattaur, aka Solja Dan, CTAA-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, hypnotherapist, self-sabotage specialist, and host of both the Boundless Authenticity Podcast and Why You Self Sabotage (And How To Heal From It), to go deep into the hidden architecture that makes intelligent, motivated people wreck the very things they want most.
Jehan began as a musician in Barbados who came face to face with the darkest corners of the music industry. That collision sent him on a path into the subconscious mind, where he developed a rare skill: hearing the exact words in someone's language that reveal precisely where their pain lives, which patterns are quietly driving their behaviour, and which of those patterns were installed there by someone else entirely.

Most people doing the work never see it coming.
Almost no one who sincerely pursues spiritual growth expects it to become the trap. But for so many people who have done the therapy, the meditation, the plant medicine, the retreats; the transformation they went looking for never fully arrived. Not because they didn't try hard enough. Because they were given the wrong map.
In this episode of The Conscious Man 7 Podcast, I sit down with Cynthia Abulafia, author of Embodying the Goddess, yoga therapist, and Shakta Tantra practitioner with over 20 years of experience, to explore what she has found at the root of this: a flaw she calls the “transcendence bias.” The idea that real awakening means going up and out of the body. And almost no tradition ever taught anyone how to come back.
