7 APR 2026 · The Atlanta Police Department is currently conducting a search for several suspects connected to a deadly shooting that took place at Piedmont Park on April 4, 2026, resulting in the death of a 16-year-old girl and injuries to a 15-year-old girl.
Authorities suspect that as many as four individuals discharged firearms during an unauthorized gathering near the western end of the park.
The incident transpired at approximately 9:03 p.m. following a gathering styled as a "teen takeover," as reported by the police. The victim, 16-year-old Tianah Robinson, was fatally shot, while another 15-year-old girl sustained injuries.
Law enforcement is currently examining security footage from the park but has yet to identify or capture the four suspects involved. A reward of up to $15,000 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest, as stated by Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta.
