President Donald Trump drops one of the biggest promises of the 2026 midterms: a proposed $5,000 “Trump Dividend” for adult Americans if Republicans keep control of the House and Senate.

Chris X breaks down Trump’s Dallas Republican Midterm Convention speech, the proposed tariff-funded payments, the growing national debt debate, and whether Congress could actually approve $5,000 checks for millions of Americans.

The Texas Senate race also heats up as Trump throws his support behind Ken Paxton and unloads on Democratic nominee James Talarico. Chris examines the fight over Talarico’s record, his position on transgender athletes in girls’ sports, and the millions of dollars pouring into one of the most closely watched Senate races in the country.

Plus, Congressman Brandon Gill delivers a viral “land acknowledgment” speech at the Dallas convention, flipping the script on one of the left’s most recognizable cultural traditions.

Chris also reflects on the one-year memorial of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and the impact his assassination has had on the conservative movement.

Then the show takes a completely different turn with the Chris X-Files: end-of-life visions, terminal lucidity, dementia patients suddenly regaining clarity, and reports of dying people seeing deceased loved ones shortly before death.

Also discussed: tariffs and China, the U.S. national debt, Alaska-style dividend payments, classic television nostalgia, I Love Lucy, Hazel, All in the Family, Coach, Frasier and the changing entertainment landscape.
