Straight out of Philly is Billy "Shoes" Johnson, one of my favorite drummers of all time on today's show. 

He was the MAN playing with Santana during the Supernatural tour and the sound on Da Le Yaleo! 

Billy riffs about his favorite musicians including Stanley Clark, Chick Corea, George Howard, Herbie Hancock, Tony Williams, and Jerry Brown. We are talking music history and Billy was in the jam.  

Billy pays homage to his parents, siblings and Grandparents for listening to his drumming in his early years.
