The Building of the Wall of Asgard is a Norse myth that puts the safety of the gods' city and the fate of the sun, moon, and goddess Freya on the line. When a mysterious stranger offers to build an indestructible wall around Asgard in a single year, Odin and the gods agree — never suspecting the price he will demand. As the giant and his powerful horse Svadilfare race to finish before summer's first day, it falls to the trickster Loki to devise a scheme cunning enough to outwit them both — though Odin is left with a quiet, lingering unease.
