Governor Whitmer on Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist AND her visit with Trump.   This week hosts Tiffany Cross, Angela Rye, and Andrew Gillum are joined by the Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer.    Governor Whitmer’s term is almost over and the race to succeed her is on. Notably, she has not endorsed her Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist (nor anyone else). Lt. Gov Gilchrist is a friend of the show and the Black community, and so the hosts must ask: what gives?    PLUS Governor Whitmer has said she’s open to working with Trump and she was even spotted recently at the White House in a somewhat embarrassing photo. We’ll get to the bottom of her controversial decision to meet with the president; was the meeting productive or was she just used as a photo-op prop?    And of course we’ll hear from you!
