From autism therapy innovations to practical advice for parents, this episode is packed with insights to help you better navigate your autism journey. Listen in as Angel explains how Spark Guidance transitioned from family-focused services to training providers like teachers and daycare staff. After 15 years in the autism field, Angel had held nearly every position in it. From Therapist, to Developmental Specialist, Supervisor, Trainer, Assessor, Interventionist...she learned and saw a LOT. What she noticed, though, were the concerns coming from families and providers alike; a lot of them knew OF autism, but didn't really know ABOUT autism.
SPARC Guidance was created to answer these concerns. Since becoming a full time business, SPARC has trained over 120 providers (daycare staff, teachers, coordinators, and administrators) on what autism is and how to better understand autistic individuals. In 2022, the mission gained a new platform with SPARC Up, a podcast that centers on all things autism.
