It’s so easy in our world of social media to fall into the comparison trap. Sarah Kroger, an accomplished worship songwriter and performer, gives a personal testimony of walking through that trap and stepping out into the freedom that comes when we embrace God’s love. Her personal story will translate to all of us as no human has ever walked this earth and not had the thought that someone else has it better.

We’ve all said, “I wish I were more like her/him,” or “I wish I had what they had,” or “My life isn’t good enough without what they have.” But God says…

Psalms 139 13-16

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
