@Matrix - Are you reffering to the Ocala National Forest ? We've more forests, state forests, national forests, wildlife management areas, springs, than you can shake a stick at. Cool you'll be in my neck of the woods so to speak. FYI: January's the coldest month. Avg 48 night, 68 day. It can swing 10 or so below or above. You veteran ? Deplorable Cat - "mid 50's at night is brutal". I was using hyperbole. We moved from decades in northern Virginia to north eastern Florida mid-2020. Virginia is often in the 20's overnight in winter. I can handle cold but perfer not to anymore. 50's does fell chilly now. 40's is cold. 30's is OMG. But stay in an area where cold is normal and you acclimate. Don't know where you are but move on down. Florida would welcome you. Florida is it's own country as I heard expressed recently. Well at least norhern Florida.

I stumbled on a mainstream author I never heard of terry brooks. I am reading running with the demon but the reason I mention is, he has written other books that actual films were made off of concepts. I haven't seen any of the films yet but it is called the shannara chronicles.

Jerome : On Ukraine & Russia. I'm of slavic origin. Polish actually. Was raised to hate "the russians", communism and all that. Oh how things have changed, starting in 1989 with the collapse of bolshevism in eastern Europe. Bolshevism came from outside, was not of native russian origin. It was imposed, skillfully with promise-them-the world-on a-platter-lies. All are to be 100% equal. Everyone will have the same. Economic equality. The state is god. Sound familiar ? Same one-liners being used here and now. Anyway, how things have reversed. Russia has been slipping sure and steady back towards eastern orthodoxy. Before you naysay it - at least they name the name of Christ Jesus as a good thing. And conversly the West has been slipping slow and steady towards bolshevism. The name of Christ, anything overtly christian, is actually cursed in large swaths of the western world's population. FYI: Russia, the Slavs, brought down the might of the armies of western Europe commanded by Napoeon. They also brought down the might of the strongest military in Europe in the 1940's, the German War machine. If any of the western powers attempt another assault on Russia I would ill advise against it. Two of the western worlds most advanced powers of their day went down in flames attacking Russia. God seems to have plans for them.
