In this episode I talk about the COVID-19 Public Health Response Act which passed into law in the New Zealand parliament under urgency last month. I outline some context for the introduction of the Act, in terms of political trends of the past few decades, and attempt to answer the $64 million dollar question: is it consistent with the NZ Bill of Rights?
