Rocking Midlife™- the Podcast
Season 1. Episode 3.
Today’s episode features a very talented friend of mine – Greg Ward. Greg is a Professional
MC, keynote speaker, virtual MC and more. Despite his confident persona on stage though,
Greg has had to deal with his own battle with mental health, and this has led him to now
share his story in order to inspire others to “recognise their truth, and to take heart in the
fact they are not alone.” Generally we women are good at reaching out and talking to
someone when we are struggling, but men can be harder to read. Hence I’ve invited Greg to
have a conversation around the subject of how we can better understand and support the
mental health of the midlife men in our lives.
The 3 key points that Greg would like you to remember are:
* You eat an elephant one bite at a time.
* You don’t know what you don’t know – but sometimes you’d don’t know what you DO
know! Slow down, cut through your own static.
* The future is uncertain, the past is gone. All we have is the present. Live now. You are
enough.
