Welcome is given by cemetery sexton Bob Holmes, followed by comments from Bryan mayor Andrew Nelson and Dr. Henry Mayo of the Brazos County historical commission. This program was held on the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Bryan city cemetery. What was originally a 20 acre cemetery is now nearly 80 acres. On the 150th anniversary, there was a ribbon cutting for a new addition of almost 20 acres.
