I remember an almost shoot down of another airliner, when they were grounding all planes.. IIRC a Korean Passenger palne on the west coast... language problem... but it did finally land without incident... talk about tight cheeks..
Was working in the factory when they said 93 was headed toward Cleveland, an hour away from us. We were told to head to the tornado shelter (fortified restrooms)
