Tale as old as time
Tune as old as song
Bitter sweet and strange
Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong

Certain as the sun
Rising in the east
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the beast

I have a tale to tell, Sister.

Of an innocent young girl with a pure heart who wanted only Magik and Beauty.

The betrayal of her father and her plunge into the Dark Knight.

Being seduced by the beast, loved by the beast, and ultimately set free by… The Beast.

This is a story about me and my daddy.

A lover’s tale with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I am still on mine.

Continuing to be amazed and blessed, stretched and tested by its Unfolding.

Questions and answers making themselves known as I continue to heal an ages old rift in my system.

The marriage of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine weaving, bowing, dancing, in-forming.

As they find their right relationship inside of me, dissolving the illusion of fear and separation.

Returning me to Wholeness and Inclusion.

There are no bad guys here. No monsters to hunt down with angry torches in the shadowy night.

Only maidens waiting for liberation and princes hidden behind ancient spells.

Once again Returning to the saving Grace of the both/and.

What if we are both the Beauty AND the Beast?

What if he is too?

On Wild Soul Medicine Radio this week we deconstructed the archetype of the fairy tale and discovered what it has to teach us about healing our Original Heartbreak.

Some highlights to listen for:
(06:45) Sha-men Fairy Tales

(13:00) A Rose for Belle: Bargain with the Beast

(26:50) The betrayal of gentleness

(39:00) My Father is Dying

(46:00) Masculine healing feminine healing masculine

POTENT DOSE (if you only have a few minutes):

Crumbling the patriarchy begins with the revolutionary act of Seeing and making peace with the Beauty AND the Beast.

It is courageous and sometimes daunting work, and really… Our Primary Directive as Evolutionaries.

Join me this week for a Once Upon A Time from a different point of view.
