In this episode of Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond, we are speaking with Kerrie Adams, Advocate for women’s choices in birth and for physiological birth. Midwife for the past 13 years, 11 of them in Australia and mostly Sydney based. Kerrie has a varied career which has includes midwifery group practice and ward management. Originally from the UK, Kerrie is a mother to 2 boys a 3yo & 6mths old.
She currently writes a blog about the realities of working in the system as a midwife. This highlights how midwives ‘show up’ in practice and how that impacts birth outcomes for women and babies. You can find her at kerrieadams.com.
