News of The Damned for June 16th, 2017

Are there ads that pop up or should pop up in various navigation pages? I notice some mobile apps that try to load ads within the app randomly. The loading of the advert, maybe reaching out to the browser then causes slow loading/slow navigating.

I do think someone might want to offer some consulting to Weather.com. After trying to use the website on desktop but mobile is much better performance. Look at gtmetrix - https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.weather.com/t9tPdQL5 As I have sent their support a heads up. This doesn't have anything to do with my internet connection as you can see. Using their maps, looking at the hourly values are ridiculously slow. Hourly values are not images. Might be a real consulting oppty. They need the help.
