In 1996, Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet became a smash hit, launching stars Claire Danes and Leonardo di Caprio to super-stardom and ushering in a new era of modern reimaginings of classic works.
But perhaps what it will be best be remembered for is its soundtrack. The album went number one in New Zealand thanks to tracks like Young Hearts Run Free and #1 crush.
Now some of our best and brightest musical stars are uniting for a two-night reimagining of the classic soundtrack.
Gin Wigmore is amongst them, returning home to New Zealand for the occasion. She joined Andrew Dickens to discuss what drew her to the project and what her life is like in Palm Springs.
