The Serious Fraud Office has charged two people in relation to the New Zealand First Foundation electoral funding case.
Both people have temporary name suppression.
They are not a Minister, sitting MP, candidate in the upcoming election or a current New Zealand First Party member.
It has also been revealed New Zealand First tried to gag the Serious Fraud Office from announcing charges in the New Zealand First Foundation case.
The SFO has charged two people, who have interim name suppression, in relation to electoral funding.
New Zealand First wanted the announcement to be held until after next month's election.
The party applied for orders in the High Court to prohibit the SFO releasing the details.
But Justice Matthew Palmer said party's evidence for an order was "not particularly strong".
