I recently came across a Harvard Business School case study which analyzed Starbucks and their successes. Part of the study looked at the differences between a "satisfied customer" and a "highly satisfied customer" and the results were astounding.

The satisfied customers stayed loyal for an average of 4.4 years and spent $921.78 over that time span. In contrast, the highly satisfied customers were loyal for an average of 8.3 years and spent a whopping $3,169.67.

This week's guest understand's just how important providing great restaurant service is. She has been in the industry for over 30 years and has served the likes of President Bill Clinton and the Rolling Stones.

In episode #058 of the Social Restaurant Podcast, I welcome Diane Warren, Owner of Katzinger's Delicatessen which is located in the historic German Village near downtown Columbus, OH.

Diane graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in History but soon after discovered her passion for the restaurant industry and delivering top-notch service. She stopped by the studio to share her story and philosophy of servant leadership.
