Broden, Miani and Zoe attended the media premiere of ACMI's 2017 Winter Masterpiece Exhibition, filled with heaps of beloved characters from many of Aardman’s claymation creations that have been enchanting audiences for over four decades! There’s just so much to see including hand crafted plasticine models, concept drawings, character studies, storyboards and production designs, as well as never-before-seen treasures like the first ever drawings of Wallace & Gromit and the rocket from A Grand Day Out. This exhibition is a must for all Aardman fans, as well as any claymation enthusiasts, so if you’re visiting Melbourne anywhere from July through to 29th October this year, make sure you check out ACMI and the Wallace and Gromit and Friends – the Magic of Aardman exhibition, it’s fantastic! The team were lucky enough to meet Aardman Animation founders, Creative Director Peter Lord and Executive Chairman David Sproxton, as well as ACMI CEO Katrina Sedgewick and the General Director of Art Ludique, Diane Launier, who instigated the initial exhibition in Paris in 2015 - so check out this great podcast.
