I thought the black album was their first record, then my friend on the school bus made me a copy of MASTER OF PUPPETS. I don't think I made it to the third song until the next day, I just kept playing the first two songs over and over again
For me I didn’t hear Metallica until I saw the video for One on Good Rocking Tonight up here in Canada. Back in high school in Ottawa it was the metal heads who at my school were dicks and that made me not want to listen to them. After One I started to pay attention, even bought the Cass-single for One lol
