From my own opinion ofcourse, I agree that some men are out of alignment with God because they have fallen away from the word of God which clearly states they are to lead the family. 1 Timothy 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) A woman is to be a help meet (mate) for her husband. Some men have gotton so caught up in the depositing of his seed, but are not caught up in the formation or development of that seed. Too many single women are left to raise these young men and women alone because the father has left his post. The father in the lives of their children are critical, a young woman will usually pick a man like her father and a young man will in many cases emulate his father's behavior. God gave man (Adam) dominion over all the fowls of the air and the beast on the ground, and those in the sea. This completely shows the authority was given to Adam and not Eve though she was created to help him. The father is to be the priest of his household and lead his family spiritually as well. When a man is absent from the home things are not complete for the children. These children miss the most important factor and that is his leadership, the godly leadership. If some men in the home would turn to God, leave the things and ideas of this world alone the reconciliation of the family could commence

• The church plays a very important part in this restoration of the male to his family by having teaching classes, by preaching on the importance of the man in the home, and how he is to lead his family with the direction of God. This does not say all men are missing in action, but some are in the home but lack the maturity in Christ to lead the family with a positive example. My husband is firm in his position as the head/priest of our household. He sets the example for the boys and sets a standard for the men who will come into the girl's lives. Biblically speaking he teaches the word of God through open dialog, reading and prayer which are extremely important to the family in these difficult and distracting times for children. Without a male in the company on a regular for the children and the wife, things will go lacking.
