The Shack is a beautiful movie which demonstrates how the Spirit will use whatever symbols we believe in to reach us and help us heal. In the movie, the main character “Mack” has lost his daughter and is dealing with intense guilt and anger. Through a profound spiritual experience, he is able to forgive and find peace once again. Along the way he realizes that God has nothing to do with events that seem to occur in the world because God dwells not in time and space. And that in order to experience true happiness, one must let go of all judgment in the mind.

This recording begins with Frances Xu giving a setup for the movie, followed by an after-movie discussion led by David Hoffmeister and Kirsten Buxton.
